I paid like 1,595.00 for these from ricambi plus u get a 10 percent discount if u type in fchat10. I got them a few months ago. I love em.
I did see that when I searched, it showed them as unavailable so thought I was missing something. But good to know they are in fact available.
I believe I bought the last in stock pair. I did speak with Saldana and they said they just started on another batch of 355 radiators, so Ricambi should have them back in stock soon. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Should be getting my car back this week. I can’t wait to hear it with the new exhaust system. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Been contemplating doing similar to my '95 355sp. Can't wait to hear your update after car is back! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hi all. So tomorrow I'll be getting my car back from Ron Reineke who did all the work over the past few months. I must say that Ron is very thorough with his work and he communicates often on the progress and/or what needs to be ordered/fixed. Here is everything I had done: 30k engine out service which included a compression check and leakdown. All cylinders were either 210 or 220 and leakdown was mostly 5% with three cylinders at 10%. Hill engineering parts were used and welds were added on the cam belt gear. New water pump and coolant tank cap. New spark plug wires Left and Right inner CV axle boots and one outer boot. Ron also fabricated heat shields for the CV boots since none were ever installed on the car. Installed the Tubi headers, cat delete pipes, Fabspeed secondary cat bypass and Fabspeed exhaust. (Original headers, muffler and fabspeed cats are in good shape and will hold onto in case I ever sell the car. This was done to avoid any exhaust related issues down the road) Replaced AC compressor and an AC discharge line and new coolant for AC Inspected fuel tank and fuel pumps and associated stuff. Needed a new 10 hole cam cover since the original one was cracked. Sourced a used one and had both powder coated. Installed new aluminum radiators I purchased from Ricambi and a left side radiator fan. (This was a preventative thing I did. OEM radiators looked rough, but weren't leaking. It was only a matter of time though) Replaced power steering fluid reservoir with the BMW part number replacement. 4 wheel balance and alignment The clutch was in good shape and based on the compression and leakdown number, I didn't replace the valve guides. It's going to be a hot weekend here in Atlanta with 95 degree weather. I'll be putting those new radiators and AC compressor to the test.
It wasn’t cheap at all, but I’ll only have to do the radiators and exhaust once. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
They must not have any in stock at the moment. I’d call Daniel and ask when he expects his next batch. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
