    1. I 'm wondering if I caused any damage by very briefly exceeding 5,000rpms before I reached the 620 mile break-in period on my new 488 spider-

    Not at all Lou - it’s just getting warmed up. I wouldn’t redline it yet, but 5,000 rpm is nothing at that mileage
