I thought of that but don't think so because it seems too low to act as a turning vane or wing and also because it wraps around the sides. Most likely it's the perimeter of the opening to the rear deck like J50. But what do I know ;-) We'll all find out in a couple of days.
You're probably right about the lights. Only reason I drew them as hexagons is so I could join the inboard ones together with a horizontal light strip - don't ask me why. Regarding the horizontal slit at the back, I think this will be much more than a styling feature but rather a proper aero passage, delimited by the bottom of the spoiler/wing and the top of the sunken engine deck, like on P80.
Image Unavailable, Please Login There was one photo that shows the tail light pretty well. With Lambo’s fixation on he hex I don't see how Ferrari could do it. Even though I admit you cannot see the sides of these taillights. The front maybe. As far as the rest I doubt it. Even though I long for the grace of PF’s designs to adorn a Ferrari once again. The new designs have only heavy handed styling cues and lack nuance and IGNORE light reflection.
I see alot of the 458 in the Battista and as Pininfarina designed both there is still going to be some of their DNA embedded in Ferrari's current round of new designs. Ferrari's BB design would have been locked in before the Battista was shown to the public. So due to the DNA and current areo solutions. Im sure at least some of the front and rear of BB will have the feeling of a battista. If I remember the Story Right after the P1 was shown Ferrai changed the rear of the LaFerrari as at that point they looked alot alike. Not sure if its true but I did trust the source at the time. so anything is possible.
New V8 hybrid Hyper car So the private viewings are the end of this week of the brand new car. From the info I have, it’s a V8 hybrid with close to 1000 hp and likely to be over ½ a Million pounds. I could not see a thread on this which is strange, so if there is one please delete this thread. Any more info?
You can read the whole thing and the essence of what’s expected is what you described https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/new-v8-mid-engined-model-big-brother.595398/
I can't help this feeling about the rear lights. it has a front bumper, four wheels, two seats, a roof, windshield and glasses, a mid engine, two raised exhausts and a rear bumper, with lights on the front and rear: so it will remind something, of course!! ciao
Looks like interesting new design language but unfortunately expect F8 type boxes at the front. Surprising that nobody claiming knowledge of the design of this car described the nose and S-duct like this: Image Unavailable, Please Login

That front is pointy; extremely aggressive. Also the front bumper height seems lower than the Pista. I wonder how they got away with that considering current government standards... Maybe they measure with 'front lifter' up!
Looking less and less like the P80/C... I was hoping for as close to that as possible, but with headlights.
