    I'm looking for a good, used OEM 348 rear shelf carpet. Because, something or someone, drill a little hole in the corner of mine. I suspect a little varmint , but I don't see any evidence.

    By the parts diagrams, that 'piece' of carpet either:

    1.) covers the entire rear shelf and firewall down to the floor as one piece. or;
    2.) covers just the shelf (which looks like yours because of the trim piece in your pic):

    Both are NLA, of course.

    Thanks! Yes, it looks like the second diagram with the separate shelf carpet piece.

    What is No 20 in the diagram? Should that not screw in that hole?

    21/20 are the screw and washer that hold down the rear window bottom trim and is above the top of the carpet. They are covered by the center leather wrapped part 15 and are 6-8 inches above where his hole is.
    I have 3 348 black carpets and one tan out at the shop. Let me look and see if I have that exact piece for you tomorrow and I’ll PM you.

    Maybe a small piece of existing carpet hidden behind trim could be used and grafted into the hole as a repair. Your carpet looks pretty good. Are other areas in need of replacement?

    Yes I was going to say the same thing, a talented carpet guy can blend the two together so that it would be, for the most part, invisible.
