you all will like the official pictures, as you will see all the details: the best of this car is front, rear, cabin and under skin. The guy who posted this picture is an idiot and will be fired. I can tell you this: It's one hundred times better looking than the Mc Laren Senna, it's cheaper and has more power.

    ciao

yes, he knew: several here knew. But nobody here saw the car in person. That's not the new limited production Ferrari hyper car: It's "just" the new Ferrari production flagship. Please think which today is the Ferrari flagship: 812S, that seen in a bad long distance shot like that is impossible to learn if it's a Corvette or a Ferrari. This one looks like a Ferrari and has a different level of performances, power and technology

Are you guys saying he knew in the sense that the “new design language” is basically just an evolution of the 488/F8? Cause the spy shot sure looks like that instead of the supposed spaceship.

Ha! Of course he knew. As did/do others.
I think the forum becomes a little bit of an echo chamber. Talk of spaceship and new design language for sure was collective wishful thinking.
One of the cognoscenti even described it as an F8-one off, but we didn’t listen.
“It will be the reincarnation of the P3!”
(OK, nobody said that, except me with my inside-voice).
Ultimately, we are like virgins speaking of sex, with enthusiasm and ignorance

It is exceptional that one consistent element of Ferrari is that it allows for the individual to project their own meaning and significance on the automobiles, even those not yet revealed.

the mule (that is the complete car and not a mule) clearly showed a car without an high rear wing and a compact car (and not a "long tail" one). The style is "clean" (I wrote that) and it's clearly an evolution of Ferrari latest models. The words "spaceship" and others are a suggestion after 100+ pages without knowing anything but the power.

Please relax and enjoy this new Ferrari flagship with brilliant figures and state of the art powertrain tech.

    ciao

I really like it. However electric not for me. I wish this was just the next 488 GTB instead of the F8. Now the question is the F8 replacement , how different is it going to be to BB. Look the same just a smaller engine package V6 ? Here im confused.

Good question for the little brother thread:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/new-mid-engined-v6-little-brother.595399/

I can't see how this car can be brought down-market but would be nice if they made parallel V12 model with it, as has been discussed here.

Is that a line going up through the roof at side window trailing edge? So indeed a targa?

Looks like some kind of double decker deck lid. Only area still a mystery to me. Also the scoops on the rear quarter may be defining a sort of flying buttress. Hope not.

I still can't believe that anyone can be so s@@@@@ to publish (on a social network!) a picture of a car that all the world is waiting for, a picture taken inside the Factory exactly in the official event tent, 24 hours before the official scheduled event. Ferrari doesn't even allow you to use pictures taken inside the factory yard (showing anything but the gravel...) and there are several private policemen patrolling all the factory checking you don't go were you can't go…

Poll: what will they do to that "unlucky" guy? ;)

    ciao

Honestly I feel the same as you. Just a shame :( That guy if they find out who he is better go on a permanent holiday out of Italy. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Same as the F8 spoiler.

I wonder if there will be an hardcore version... I think yes. The limited and hardcore editions are huge successes and drag much attention and drama toward ferrari.
