We'll see what the coupe on that platform looks like shortly, so maybe that'll be more to your liking.
Yes, yes you are right: it drops down. Saw in the video, it has a slot to fit the rear prancing horse when it drops down. I still don't understand why it works on the opposite way than the Boxster one: on the Boxster it's displayed at high speed and concealed when the car goes at slow speed. On the Stradale is the opposite: doesn't the car Always need a big downforce at high speed? Or it's Always displayed, retracting only in the "top speed" mode like a DRS? thank you very much ciao
Agreed. I think the Portofino is the best looking Ferrari in a long time. SF90 might just be better if it weren’t for those camaro lights. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ferrari experiencing heavy Pininfarina withdrawals? Looks a ton like the Battista, but with a few ugly bits like Camaro tail lights... Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are completely right , a very different car . Wonder if the little black triangular zone above the door was red too maybe it would be even better ? Could you do that ?
Gents, Pininfarina designed a concept car without a petrol heat producing engine. We’re comparing apples vs pears here! Initial reports from dealers is that the car is already sold out in most EU countries. I suspect the same for most other markets. I’m hearing initial numbers of 50% smaller than the 812. So it’s a limited non-limited car.
+1 So is this car based on new modular platform ? Maybe the new hybrid modular platform will be ready for Little brother ?
He's at it again lol. https://www.motor1.com/news/352282/glickenhaus-complaints-about-ferrari-supercar/amp/
Isnt the sound anf look very individual. I so far think that my 675lt and P1 sounds far better than my Gt2RS. Others feel the otherway round, but the sound was and will for me never be an argument if i will buy a car or not. Also driving sensation comes done to preference. I feel the steering of the 675lt more precise than the Gt2/and 3Rs, but that doesnt make one steering better than the other, at least not for me
battista is simple and less dramatic than the sf90. battista is a nice looking car for pininfarina but imagine it as a ferrari.. for me its a big no and also remember it's a $2 million+ hypercar. simply it's a boring car.. Image Unavailable, Please Login . it's surprising that how come they look so similar?
They also had a 3rd run with instruments on board. Believe what you may, but instruments don't lie: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Looking at this monster of a car, one can imagine how classy a 360 is, pure Pininfarina design...
that is no camaro tail-light. it's their own signature rear light design; styled as if the upper and lower part is hidden or missing.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeahhhh... believe what you want but the mere fact that the 1200R beat the 720s by a certain length the first go-around tells me the producers influenced the outcome.
The "spaceship" reference was one person's opinion to describe what he knew of this car before it was revealed. Right out wrong, it's a personal opinion and nobody hyped it Admittedly though, if someone showed this detail, I would tend to agree that it's out there: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nor me. 675Lt is a different beast to 720 though and I know which i would prefer (675 by far). 2rs and 3rs's individual sounds are equally amazing in their own way - a bit like a v8 turbo Ferrari engine vs an atmo v8. The lower weight gives clear advantage. Just imagine if a 2rs weighed in at 1800 kilos! SF90 needs to lose at least 300 kilos and take a trip back to the design studio. PS. Ingegnere the spaceship design theme appears to be based upon the Millennium Falcon. Have to agree with noone1 here - hard to argue what he is saying on that. Also needs a tv screen to navigate the rear end. And agree with the Camaro rear lights - a direct take off. Probably interchange.
I just saw on “Carbuzz” that the price was 1.2M. Does anyone know if that’s an accurate estimate? https://carbuzz.com/cars/ferrari/sf90-stradale
Good question. My opinion only and not based on anything else I saw is that at high speed and going straight it's a bit like the DRS (drag reduction) in F1 - this gets you the higher top speed numbers. The system must be "intelligent" and as soon as any steering or braking input is detected the car returns to high(er) downforce mode. At lower speeds the low drag setting might be to help ventilation and cooling.
I really hope so! The LB has also been pitched as to be more focused on “fun to drive“, than “pure performance”.
