Not a traditionally beautiful car, but an interesting car to be sure.

I think it should be here. It's a one-off and a curiosity, and not a benchmark for other models' values.

I'd own it if the price was right. It's sort if like a Fiat X 1/9 on steroids. And it has to be one of a few or one of one right? I'm not an expert.

Mercifully one of one, it looks worse in person. The car should have been restored/rebodied as per original IMO. Chinetti had several of these "inspirations" in that period.

It’s my second-most least favorite vintage Ferrari after s/n 2491.

    Definitely an acquired taste.

I don't know much about designers other than seeing the names. With Zagato it's usually about the "Double Bubble." But usually I don't like the other stuff I see from them. Same for Bertone, I rarely like anything I see by Bertone.

Fortunately you can’t see the outside while you are driving it.

While I've never been a fan of "re-bodies" or "recreations", if I had something like this, I wouldn't hesitate to fabricate a new copy of OEM body for it.
At least the chassis and running gear (i.e. +/- 2/3) would be "original" GTC and it would look much more attractive.

Yes, having been restoring all aspects of vintage cars for 35+ years, I know.

The number expected was $450k, I got that from my contact at RM. I am a fan @ just above 50% of that number...
