As discussed in the 'Enzo Magazine' thread it might be an idea to start an separate thread just for magazines specializing in or has interesting content related to Ferrari. Don't think of just the well known magazines like Cavallino, Forza and Enzo but also 'specials' published on the mark or all club-magazines which al published! Show us what your club has printed, which interesting magazines you've found at your local newsstand!

Another one you will not see very often. The magazine 'Red Mist' was published in 1999, also just two issues were printed.
The Launch issue dated 09/99 and the first issue dated 12/99.
In all these years of collecting i've only been able to find the launch edition. Still hunting for issue 1 (december 1999)
The launch issue has just 30 pages and has a feature on Talacrest and preparing a 308GT/4 for (club)racing.

I think you can work out why it didn't last long just from your pictures: They spent all their money on sponsoring Mark Skeggs instead of on the magazine and even though one of their contributors owned a Testarossa he still thought it was a Testa Rossa.

I was told they ran into some legal issues. The magazine indeed gives an rather amateurish impression. But still, it was a brave attempt to publish something different. Focus more on club racing, DIY jobs regarding maintaining your car etc. And yes, i would prefer to own an Testa Rossa instead of a Testarossa... ;) :) Hopefully the contributor knew the difference too.

I always liked this one: La Revue du Club Ferrari France. This is issue #1 from June 2004. I was in a tabac in Bordeaux and happened to see this first issue and then looked for future ones each time I was in France. I think there were about 25 issues all together but I only have 10 of them. Hortons have them from time to time and issue #8 is on ebay currently, although I have that one.

Articles in the first issue included the Maranello Rosso Collection, Rene Arnoux, 121 LM #0558, and lots of reports from events all over the world.

Yes, i always liked those magazines! I have a run 1 till 17 which is i believe a complete set. They were published by Fink Presse. They were also responsible for the 45th GTO anniversary tour book. Picture shows all covers and the GTO book. So you can check which ones you would need to complete your collection.

Never seen these before. I only know him from some books he wrote. Can you tell us more on the content of these magazines?

I have tried to build up a collection of Autosport Magazines covering all of the championship F1 race wins for Ferrari. I only need another 19, all of them between 1975 and 1985. They do turn up occasionally but often in poor condition. Surprisingly the ones from the 1950s and 60s are easier to find.

Here is the cover from the first Ferrari Championship race win although, being patriotic, Autosport chose a picture of a BRM for the cover:

Here is the cover from 10 July 1975 with both Lauda and Ferrari mis-spelt!

The final one I have selected, 25 June 1981 and Gilles Villeneuve's last victory:

"Laudar's Farrari"? Whoever laid out that copy was probably immediately "re-assigned"!

In case it is of interest to anyone, I thought I would mention a new magazine that I came across thanks to their stand at last weekend's Hampton Court Concours. It is called The Road Rat (hate the title personally!) and the first issue has a picture of Lewis Hamilton on the cover (another negative as far as I'm concerned). However, I did purchase the three issues so far published although I haven't got round to reading them yet. It covers a variety of topics with some Ferrari content. The website is at http://theroadrat.com and I'm sure you can make up your own minds if it is of any interest.

I got issue 3 directly from the publisher. I think I'll subscribe.
