Hi guys, haven't posted in awhile. Got the Battery Light. Assuming the ALT is bad. Was able to drive home and recharge the battery. Anyways, without jacking the car up, can you see the Alternator? I've looked but can't seem to find it. I'm assuming its at the forward of the engine compartment on the left. Would like to at least see if there's a belt still there before moving forward.

    Thanks in advance.

Remove driver rear wheel and fender liner it right there bottom driver side on front of engine. It's hard to see without removing wheel.

Thanks. I was wondering. Hard to check if it's the belt I guess without doing all of that.

You can jack it up and look from under may have to remove skid plate to see easy enough.

Or use an inspection mirror and a flashlight perhaps.

Good to see you posting again bro!

Alternator is on the bottom left-front side of the engine (the 5/8 bank).

This thread will have all you need to know if you need to rebuild your alternator. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-alternator-removal-rebuild.142329/
Be sure to read the WHOLE THING before you try rebuilding your alternator, because there is some info regarding the different rectifier sizes later in the thread.

Also check to make sure you have the proper tension on the belt.
