I just did so move on. You deserve the comment for calling my “self-importance”.
Sit down and order Pista son.

Saw the car yesterday in Maranello. Was not sold when I saw the pictures, but IRL it was a lot better... If you take the press photo and scale down to 80-90% size on the y axis, that is closer to how the car feels when you look at it.

Preferred the grey version - then again, under harsh spotlights, bright colors really struggle.

To my eyes this definitely look like the better than 458/488/pista &F8. However, it did not have that special halo that LaF has - it looks like a series car (which it is so its fair enough)... Just had expected something 'more' - this looked a bit like the logical next step after the F8 - A bit more LaF magic would have been nice...

    ...So for me, its "considering"...

I was at the launch and spent over 1/2 hr pondering over the cars - 5 mins over the standard - 25 mins over the assetto fiorano version - a massive YES to the Assetto Fiorano version .... a v interesting point during the presentation given by Leiters was that they achieved over 400bhp with the electric but other battery limitations meant they reduced the electric power . To me that clearly implies that either another 180bhp is on the cards v soon or a significant weight saving - either way I believe that there will be several sf90 variants v soon .... my 2 pennies worth ....

I was with my dealer yesterday and signed a buy order. Dealer was in Maranello the day before for the unveiling. I think the price is rather low. 1000hp, awd Ferrari with a 5 handle base price is a no brainer for me.

I’m really torn on this car. On paper the specs sound great other than perhaps the weight.
The hips on the car especially with the red black spec seem to be too high . I’m also not sure if I want to be a guinea pig for the first round of hybrid tech in a series production Ferrari considering the battery issues in previous cars.
I want to see the car in person and will make up my mind at that time.

I think this car is a true game changer.
It makes the rest of the range obsolete.
I am glad ferrari came up with this first.

Rumor has the hybrid little brother coming in at a base of $350k in the US. Scheduled to be released around 2021/2022. By that time the SF90 will have been broken in and we will know of any issues with this new technology. With that info and a lower base price the little brother may be a prudent alternative.

Sure is....but not in a good way.
Actually, it has just supercharged the value and desirability of all cars before it.
Maclaren, Lambo and Porsche agree wholeheartedly. I suspect they cannot believe their good luck after seeing it.

IMO, its just way too complex. Like LaFerrari, I see a nightmare in the making. You'll put up with it on a LaFerrari because people don't drive them anyway. But if this is just another street car, my feeling is its going to drive you nutty.

People complain about the lack of range of the battery. I think they used the minimum to qualify for cities like London that require battery only power. Its not intended as a real electric vehicle. Its to get some addition acceleration, 4 wheel drive, and then recharge as quickly as possible through the 3 electric motors.

I wouldn't call this a hybrid. Its purpose is not saving fuel but in increasing speed and pass some silly regulations in European cities.

Yes. You are instructing other members to “sit down” and also referring to them as “son”. No one here is your son and you certainly have no right to issue orders.
