Who knows, but he’s willing to allow a ppi so could be a good deal. I noticed he’s also selling a 599 gto as well so a bit of caution should be taken. If possible see if you can get more photos, and have a conversation about the car. Does seem low for a 3 pedal car to me but maybe he just wants to move the car.

    Definitely scammer.

"Do not even think of bidding if you do not have the funds. This auction is for serious buyers that know they want a fun Ferrari."

"Immediate deposit of $500.00 is required"

You're not getting your $500 back.

I think that sounds OK to me, too many fake ebay bidders out there, been there, done that. He's not a newbie seller with over 900, 100% positive points.

Call him, hop on a plane, go look at it, drive it.

Ok maybe I'm wrong I've never sold anything on eBay. Why do it if it's so bad?

No sales in over a year and just a bunch of parts stuff. Buyer beware. Someone may have grabbed his seller name. Could just be selling for someone but I would look deeper.

I have owned a 3 pedal coupe since new that is about 3 months older than this one and turned 30K yesterday. My only comments are this one has more wear on the seat than mine and the shifter plate is different. Mine has a prancing horse instead of the shift pattern. This is probably a change Ferrari made in the interim. If you are interested, I'd advise to first get as many records as possible about how many owners, service, etc. One other thing: the manual calls for major service at 30K or 10 years. This was dome at 13+. This shouldn't be a deal killer as long as annual services were done. Seems like a good deal if it checks out. I figure mine would bring around 150K but it's not for sale.

Anyone checked the history? Seems this car was on ebay a few months ago, sold for ridiculously cheap, then relisted due to non-payment. While I don't think $135k is too crazy for a 30k mile Grigio car (Grigios get screwed), $115k is. I bet it has a few stories driving the price down. If it isn't anything too bad, someone could score a good deal on a rare car.

Dave, this car appears to have the factory carbon gearknob, part of the full carbon option. The carbon knob doesn’t have the shifter pattern on top of it, so it appears on the shifter plate.

Gated cars with the metal knobs like ours have pattern on top of the shifter and prancing horse on the plate.

Is it normal to change control arms and tie rods with that many miles?

To reach potential buyers across country and even other countries. It’s also relatively cheap.
But you have to deal with some idiots.
I’ve bought 3 cars, a boat and a waverunner through eBay, among other lower ticket items, so I think it does work.

Most likely the balljoints were bad/rusted, and the mechanic changed the entire control arm, I think it was only a few years after that Ferrari released the bulletin stating that the joints could be replaced independent from the control arm.
