Nice model, and great transport box. I already have the very rare 1/18 Kyosho Dino, which is also more detailed than this BBR piece, so I'll stick with what I have, but I do like that box!

I agree. That's why with my own CMA brand, I don't do anything special for the boxes, but... I do include special high quality display cases with my limited editions. Most of the collectors I sell to, either put the boxes in storage or just throw them away...... I don't know anyone that actually displays a box with a model, or keeps it in the box, only to be opened on occasion. This Dino is nice, but not at all that special.

you know that every body on these cars where different in 1966
I am sure you have a pic from the model and the real car in the exact same angle to compare
the body on 0844 was changed in 1967.....for the first time

I think you are confused Christian, Tom was talking about 0456 AM, not 0844.

If you want a 330P4 with opening features, GMP is the only one out there in 1/18th. None are perfect but, would recommend GP Replicas as good choice. Very nicely finished, decent detail and a price well below $300.00.

    hello,

i am currently at the state of downscaling my collection and want to keep/buy only the best models in 1:18 available. i want the collection to be max 30-40 models. i am interested mainly in classic ferrari race and formula 1 cars, but if there are great race car models from other brands i'd like to have them also.

i don't care if it's diecast or resin, open or closed. i just want the most accurate high end replicas.

so as there are a lot of model experts, what are the best models i can get in 1:18 scale?

    thank you

Well, you can get almost everything in 1/18...please check my collection thread, see what you like and i will tell you the brand, my collection is about 30 cars, half die-cast, half resin.
if you make a list of the models you want, we can tell you what to buy.

Well.... look at the photos of the real car, and then Tecnomodel's "interpretation." And I stand with Carnac the Magnificent.

maybe you should open your own thread and tell us what you want
If you want the best models you have to take handbuilts only

    250 GTO 62 - CMC / BBR
    250 GT SWB - CMC
250 GT SWB California - CMC
275 GTB / GTB NART Spyder - BBR
    400 SA - BBR
    500 Superfast - BBR
    250 TR 57 CMC
    250 TR 58 BBR
    250 TR 59/60 BBR
    250 TR 61 BBR
    330 TRI 62 - BBR / LOOKSMART

there are a lot of models done only by 1 factory
so you only can chose the color or street / racecar
