Watched the grid walk and have say it again... Brundle looks like such a fool. He stands there waiting for someone to walk past then ends up chatting with a fellow commentator who walks by. They finally cut over to others. Sad.

It's like watching South American Soccer. ;)

And the Sky guys are such Hamilton fan-boys, they miss half the strategy.

We never did get a replay on what Sky called Vettel's "unsafe release" on the first stop.

There are some annoyances, however this year is SOOOO far superior to the last few years. Every broadcast has been on time, didn't change channels at the last second, and no commercials is a HUGE plus. No one could screw up F1 coverage worse than NBC, no one! Sometimes one race weekend would air on 5 separate NBC affiliates, or not at all. I miss D. Hobbs, but for the most part I'm much happier this season.

The main announcer talks way too much, and way too loud. He annoys the crap out of me.

Please shut up when the cars are sitting there waiting on lights to start race. Let the excitement of the start build up. I don't need your constant banter. There is hardly one second of silence during the entire broadcast. And stop calling drivers "backmarkers"! So unprofessional. It is insulting to the teams and drivers.

Just shut up for a few minutes here and there. I prefer the other group.

    Rant here...

So disappointed in the start this year. Just watching practices with qualifying coming up (taped) and Sky is ****ing terrible. Those idiot announcers. They never shut up and they talk about nothing or inane BS. I can’t stand it, my wife can’t stand it, and we were waiting for the season to start to make the call - cut cable or hang on for F1. We’re done. Hello Netflix and Hulu. Thanks Sky and F1. We’ll watch the recorded race Sunday and it’s over, maybe try streaming, if not Sky.

Just watched qualifying. I’ll take NBC and commercials any day over Sky. MB 1, 2; F 3, 5. Groundhog Day all over again. Sound quality is bad, cars sound terrible, nonsensical jabber, enough. Moving on after years of watching.

The broadcast on ESPN was horrible, not live at all and we have commercial breaks!!! What happened to Mothers sponsoring commercial free??

I really started watching F1 in '05 and after the brief 14 years I think I'm done.

Krafty or whatever that jokers name is screams to much, even over mundane back of the pack passing. Sheeezzz

I'd have to go back and view the DVR, but I don't remember any commercials and it was live here.

    My race was commercial free.

I think they re-aired the race shortly after with commercials and some DVRs recorded that one. A friends recorded race had commercials in it but showed that it aired at a later time compared to mine (which was recorded live).

I started my DVR recording not long after the race started and then I fell asleep. The stupid DVR automatically deleted it for some reason. I was able to recover it though.

Must be this^. Sometimes they don't list the race broadcast "live" on our ESPN Fios Verizon guide for whatever reason and I get the re-broadcast crap.

    Hi all:

Be aware that Sunday's televised ABC broadcast of the Canadian GP on TV, in the New York tristate area only, will most likely be preempted by the Puerto Rican day parade in NYC that starts at Noon. If it is like last year, ABC's local metro affiliate showed the parade and not the race. However, the race was shown live on a network called "Live Well" (channel 110 via your cable provider)...hopefully we will have the same alternate coverage this year.

    Interesting.

It's pathetic qualifying isn't airing on regular ESPN or at least ABC 13.
