The more I look at the Stradale, I think the tire shape is “meh”. Looks like a Prius. Epic design fail!

    Ferrari is doomed.

i can understand your sentiment of it being 'meh'. at first i thought it has some nice touches and rather easy to my eyes. but the more i look at it the more problem i find, similar to how i saw 812 when it first came out. the lower half of the front bumper is very busy in my book and the two little latches right under the headlights are disruptive to the flow of the car, not to mention that the headlight is not very handsome. the flying buttresses are too heavy for the usual ferrari sleek rearview. now it shares the beefiness of a lamborghini's backside from some angles. that little peeking window is very overdone as well. two tone just does not work imo as well. i like the relatively simple design from 458 to portofino. and even at time i thought the laferrari has too much overhang i am not completely in love with the design and i think it is very well balanced. not to mention it still looks super special and modern after all these years next to all the late comers from different manufacturers. i thought some of the details of the pista was quite ugly but overall an improvement of a car that i already like. f8 again is overly trying in certain details which disrupts the overall design, same as 812 (i still find it ugly).

    Trolling?

Just an attempt at humor. I apologize if offending anyone.

I think the car is fantastic but am still on the fence for F8. I’m just not sure about the hybrid complexity. I shall update hear back from my dealer if I can even get an allocation for the Stradale soon. I asked to move my deposit the day it was announced.

    Have fun!

It's always fun to get the perspective of people in the real world, ie, not in our little microcosm of Ferrari Fanatics. That being said, I showed the photos of the SF90 Stradale to my retired parents, tonight, who have only a cursory appreciation for cars. They were blown away. LOVE IT! They kept saying how beautiful it is and what great lines it has. They loved every angle and were literally shaking their heads "wow." Thought some of you might find that interesting.

From the rendered picture I can see what you mean. However, I don’t think that is accurate to real life. I posted a load of pictures from the reveal, earlier in the thread. One of them is the AF car and that rear ‘handle’ just doesn’t appear. It looks like a muscular rear deck with metal stretched over the rear glass and engine leading to an exaggerated spoiler. It is undoubtedly heavy and gives the rear buttresses a look more familiar to Aventador owners but the view following the car would be very mean indeed.

.....well, if your parents are like my parents...they say "wow" to everything their amazing, brilliant, perfect son has to say ! :) (my mom then insists I stay for dinner and eat the s-a-m-e casserole I have been force fed for 50+ years :-(

Looking at the spec of a sportscar the first glance usually goes to the power rating, the second is on the weight.
Now, comparing the SF90 with the F8 (knowing the claimed weight figures never match with the real data ):
    1000 : 720 hp
    1570 : 1330 kg dry weight
    1,57 : 1,84 kg/hp
Considering the fact, that the three electric engines disconnect from the drivetrain above 220 km/h, there is not much left in favor of the SF90 in terms of acceleration. Perhaps explaining why Ferrari refuses to publishing the 0...300 km/h value?!
In summary, according to my perception, the F8 still is a „real“ sportscar, the SF90 appears as being the showcase for a new era of hypercars we will be faced with in the future.
As for now, everyone can decide on his own if he is willing to pay almost double the price for the SF90.

Anyone heard if there's to be a world dealer tour soon like the F8 did a few weeks ago ?

I guess it might depend on how much of the run is unsold.....

I am under the impression that only the front motors disengage above 220 kph.
