Agree. I would have 590 kms to drive and that's gonna take at least 6 hours in our radar/speed trap-contaminated Swiss country, probably even more. A list of the participants would help big time to make the right decision. Hopefully this year the parking situation as well as the problems with the bathroom installations has massively improved. Oh, and this year please make sure that the ticket sales people are able to issue a proper VAT/TVA receipt (mandatory by Swiss tax law). Marcel Massini
Hello Marcel and all, I just emailed Mathias the organizer asking him for an entrants list, let's see if I get it. I will be there anyway coming from the other radar infested country to the west as I am in Geneva 30% of the time.
May be a little respite at the moment ... in my district (bordering Geneva), only 4 fixed radars out of 26 in working condition ...
Still no list of entrants available……………despite email inquiries. Visitor ticket on Saturday 22nd June is not CHF 25 but CHF 30 (according to the website). CHF 25 is for pre-sale only. Marcel Massini
It seems the following 5 Ferraris will be shown at next weekend's 2019 Concours in Coppet: 342 America Cabriolet Vignale #0232 AL. 250 GT LWB TDF Berlinetta Scaglietti #1035 GT. 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Scaglietti. 250 Europa Vignale. 365 GTB/4 Spider Scaglietti. Here's a pic of 1035 GT. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 365 GTB/4 Spider Scaglietti to be shown next week at the Concours in Coppet appears to be S/N 15239, a car for sale thru Kidston SA since a long time. Here's a pic taken at Villa d'Este a few weeks ago. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
is the Europa Vignale the same car as in Monaco a week later? ticket is 25 Fr only in presale until 20 June
I have NO idea. It may well be, but who knows. I did not get answers from the organizers. Marcel Massini
Thanks for theses infos. However, we can expect other Ferrari, since 2 classes are planned in the competition: Ferrari with front engine, and Ferrari with rear engine # 0295EU, seen at Villa d'Este 2016 : https://goo.gl/photos/BjV8zRofFUiC2CrKA Image Unavailable, Please Login
Why can't the organiser simply post a proper entry list? Where's the problem? Etienne, if you know more, what other Ferraris are supposed to be shown? Marcel Massini
Sorry but absolutely nothing more. Only the information of the presence (display only)of the Porsche 917-008...
I am sure we will all make the point about this lack of info very strongly to organizer M. D. Sunday, I will. I have my idea about a weak link in the chain there.
As of today, Friday, 21st June 2019, 2.30 pm Swiss time, zero reaction and zero information about cars entered. Also nothing on their website. I say "amateurs". Weather forecast for Saturday is 50% chance of rain. I heard that the 250 SWB Berlinetta might be #2321 GT, a gunmetal grey SWB that apparently has been shown in the past already at the same concours. Another bird told me that as of Thursday evening organisers were still seeking cars and called collectors and owners. Marcel Massini
#2321GT was present last year on display. If I 'm correct the car is based at Geneva (Modena Cars). Not too difficult to move to Coppet !
the participants list was always on one of the last pages in the free catalogue If somebody can take a pic and post it here I would be very happy I decide tomorrow afternoon If I go or not 2321GT Coppet 2018 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's the list, taken from the program. Very few Ferraris and especially nothing that we did not know before. Now it is clear why the organisers did not reply to inquiries and refused to reveal information before. Well, I saved a 600 km trip and a full day.
