+1 That was a BS call from the FIA! They can go and **** themselves. Lewis pulling the old "I don't like winning this way" crap What a joke.
Vettel making a mistake has nothing to do with the penalty. The penalty is about LEWIS being impeded If Lewis was side by side and then pushed out yeah it would be fair but at no point was Lewis pushed off line. He decided to go off track. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The penalty has to do with the unsafe join, just as I have said. Not about overtaking 'corner rights.' Lewis was 'off track' because there was a car re-entering, crossing from the left side of the track to the right at a considerable lower speed.
unsafe AND forcing another car. If Vettel was by himself he wouldn't of been given a penalty no matter how unsafe he was.
Well if there's no one there to impede...then your not going to get a penalty for impeding. I think we can agree on that much.
He did impede him though. I don't see why there's any debate on that point. If you think the penalty is BS or overly harsh, that's fair enough...
That was not my premise... I was just agreeing with SPEEDCORE's suggestion that if no cars were in the vacinity of Vettel, then he would not have gotten the penalty.
How did he lose out? He was in 2nd before Seb got all squirrely, & he was still in 2nd after Seb was done being squirrely. Seb was busy keeping the car pointed roughly straight ahead & not totally losing it. Sent from my Nexus 6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Just watched At this point I’m not shure I want to bother with this joke of a sport any more. I don’t blame Lewis. The stewards are a bunch of utterly pathetic, idiotic jokes.
Agreed,FWIW after seeing it played over,I'm pretty disgusted that Benz,Toto and Hambone didn't back off 6 seconds prior to Vettel crossing the line. That's what a proper bunch of racers would have done in the past.
