    Coming back from a broken leg, many thought Michael would have lost his pace.

    He cleared poll by over 1 second. Dominating.

    Plenty of driver input required, but his 3 pedals with stick era was more engaging, especially around Monaco.

    Which leg was broken ?

    It was one of the greatest qualies ever, given the circumstances. And no doubt in my mind would he have been the 1999 WDC also. Even Irvine nearly got it...

    These videos make me hanker for the better times in F1, and brighten my day thinking of the Schumacher era, when regardless of the cars performance, we very often were able to count on seeing a masterclass from one of, and possibly the, best ever drivers on this planet

    Not one of those in f1 currently could have lived with Michael in his heyday, at the very top of his game. He had a lot of class opposition too, and he was relentless in his pursuit of perfection for both himself and the team. Strikingly loyal, the perfect ambassador, hard racer, compassionate human.... Forza Michael!

    Better off re-watching the old races these days IMO. We know the result already...but so we do today as well!
