As the title says, had a go at fitting heated seats to the F430, trying to keep it looking like factory fit.
This was difficult as the side seat trim which houses the heated seat switch/wheel was an impossible trim to find. However I found some standard trim( not wanting to butcher my original ones) which I had a go at altering to house the switches

Pleased with the result easy to wire into the fuse box behind the seats .

    Nice.

How did you separate the seat pads? My passenger one rattles on the back rest

Can you kindly share how to properly remove the leather seat covers?

Which seat heating kit did you use?

Where did you tap power from?

    Thanks in advance.

Looks nice, but heat in the cockpit has never been an issue for me driving from May to November. Your next project should be seat coolers. ;)

The back pad is attached to the top of the seat frame ( shoulder high) with metal rings or cable ties, and the bottom part clips to the rear back of the seat

The picture below shows the front pad .....it shows a long black strip which is the same as the back pad, the long black strip folds in to another one "like a male and female joint" one over lapping the other

The base pad is Velcroed to the base of the seat so a good pull and it will come off its, then just attached at the front with a long black clip (see the pic above)
The leather itself is stapled to the foam.
