Only the front engines turn off above 220km/h. That one integrated in the trasmission is always operative

You may be right. Not sure.
It’s a matter of their limited rotation speed .
The third one is attached to the gearbox.

Above 200km/h we "lose" the two front electic motors (which are kind of weak, anyways), but then I'd like the battery to power the 3rd electric motor at the rear to its maximum performance (~200CV) and that in good case could give us combined output of 780CV + 200CV. It would be great to still have 980CV to accelerate from 200 to 300km/h.

Nice cavallino. Thank God, the press release renders were wrong (they used simplified silhouette of the cavallino, which looked ... strange?)

Above the dashboard, it looks like a virtual HUD screened at the windshield?

The 'handle' is a curious detail as it appears to be replaced by two vents in this Ferrari press picture below>

    Where is the handle now?

Now I'm thinking Grigio Titanio with same color on roof would look nice

    Very nice - thanks!

Not necessarily a criticism as I quite like the car in general but for some reason(s) the car looks like a front engine car when viewed from the front.

Maybe it’s the fact that the front hood (bonnet) is flat, i.e., not tapered down at the nose – pedestrian impact? – and with no fender humps at the sides. Or maybe it’s what looks like a power bulge on the hood.

    Anybody else see this?

I do, it's several things altogether IMO. The whole front is very voluminous, for starters. The corners of the lower front bumper make it look wide ( edges of "mouth"/ "sharknose"/area vertically below headlights), together with the whole front overhang being pretty big. The hood close to the windscreen is very flat, level, big contrast with inclined windscreen, then in the frontmost part it goes down steeply. Reminds me of the Bugatti Veyron which I wouldn't call a sleek front at all. Some pictures give the impression of a very bulky front...

Yes. Of course, all this until the battery have juice...:p
I was thinking... how they could do significantly better on the laferrari's replacement starting with a NA V12. I mean, with 6.5liter (doubt that they will use larger displacement...) they hardly put down more than 900hp (6.2liter used by fxxk at it's best is around 860hp) for the combustion engine part only, it's not a real step ahead vs the v8 biturbo, not enough to create a proper gap for the new ultimate hypercar...

The side view is not far from perfect. Not a surprise, as it is still close to the (Pininfarina‘s) original shape of the 458.
Rear end including engine bay covers give me the impression of being the result of endless construction.
Whenever the term „form follows function“ deserved eligibility, it’s undoubtedly happened with the SF90.
It’s not pretty. Still hot though.

Interesting as it seems to me this is the first picture of the real HUD. Guess what other information it can show. Should at least give you the rpm and engaged gear ?

I'd say this is probably more comparable to something like the Senna as apposed to the SF90.

Very impressive, but Im not a fan.

Love the ultima, but it’s more or less a kit car. Horrific build quality. An acquaintance of mine has an Ultima Evolution and had it for sale last year. When I heard of the numerous mechanical problems, saw some of the cracking gel coat, etc I passed. It’s crude. Very crude.
