In which case they are, of course correct.:)

I guess I should have read the link first.:(

If they organise anything half as good as last year's celebration in Maranello (first Dino - 206, of course - off the production line), it will be a day to remember.:):):)

Jack committed to going to Concorso last month and sent an email blast, he is a fun character and a great master of story telling.
(Afterwards he is storing his car in AZ for 2 months prior to The DinoRally.com

BTW, "Half" would still be a bit generous; Concorso has been established for decades, is a one day gathering on a golf green and they farm out the judging to FCA Pacific Region. That being said, you should really come for this and other events that week

Matthias 50th Reunion was a once in a lifetime, three day event with group Ferrari Factory coordination, Museum visits and Fiorano track driving - none of which could have been easy to accomplish. Let's also mention the detailed route maps, great choice of a resort (I'm returning, thank you) and group meals required to make the event world class.
Has anyone except the 250GTO group done anything like this before?
    I can't recall any others...

Seems like Concorso is trying to discourage attendance. Early bird registration, which expired in April or May, was ~$125. Then it jumped up to $170. I just checked and now they're looking for $190 for either registering a car OR a spectator ticket.

You'd think as we get closer, if anything, they's start to discount to get more attendees!

Has ownership of this show/event changed since last year?

It was a sad event from a Dino perspective. Only 10 Dinos were there.
