Can you confirm it is a US market 308 ? Do you have the delivery date so ? Should be around February 79 for a october or november production car.
I have the owners manual and warranty card for 1976 308GT4 Chassis No. 13500 sold new in the UK by Maranello Concessionaires in May 1977. I believe this car was sold by DK Engineering a few years ago and may now be in Singapore. Don’t know how they ended up in the glove box of my ‘75 308GT4 that lived its whole life in California but would like to see them reunited with the correct car. I am still searching for the US warranty card for my car - ‘75 308GT4 chassis no. 10094 so if anyone has any leads please drop me a note. From a blind eBay purchase I have ended up with the US warranty card for serial no. 10314. The current owner was not interested in it but posting this in case a future owner is looking for their warranty card. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great thread. I’m speechless that the current owner is not interested in that documentation! I have Dino 308 Gt4 #09024 delivered by HR Owen in London to Mr Spedding in March 1975 and would be thrilled to recover any documentation.
Looking for original warranty card for #20791! Thanks in advance Enviado do meu iPhone usando o Tapatalk
I guess we all have different priorities. I like to have the right documentation for my cars but given the number of orphaned warranty cards and owners manuals that come up for sale there are plenty of people that don’t care about this detail but likely still enthusiasts.
I have the original window sticker for VIN # ZFFEW58A160146349 Black 430 coupe sold new from Penske Wynn in Las Vegas Free shipping to the owner of the car.
Good Morning, I’m in the market for the warranty and service book for a 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS, do you have one for sale? Thanks Carlos
May be a stupid question, but, are these items usually sold to the current owner of the car or out of good faith, given back to reunite with the car? I love the thread, Great idea!
I've done both. Depends if the receiving person is gracious or not (in this instance, if they just presumed I would give them the items for free and made no effort or offer to pay at least shipping etc. then they pay lol, and I think I've earned the right to do it either way, since I've randomly sent people on FChat all sorts of free things over the years, no questions asked).
I have several stamped warranty book of Ferrari 328. I still looking for any information about that model and when I find actual owner I contact him to resell his book ( or the book of his car ) I'm proud of that and I just sent last week to Italy the warranty book of 328GTS #67123. I waiting for the photo of the book AND the car together. I stopped writing on this thread because sadly I don't find here lot of interest
Thank you for reaching out to me the last 5 numbers of my vin are 66025. It’s a US version and as best as I’ve been able to track it back to it was purchased in New Jersey. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I’m a person that love to bring everything back to its original state. And with older cars others just love to separate them causing more harm than anything else for a quick buck. I just was able to track down the original period correct spare tire that I’m sure was sold off years ago. Thanks again for your inquiry please let me know if you need anything else. Regards Carlos
Sorry Carlos I don't have the book of this car. Just saw an advertising in 2017 from Next Path Motorsports in New York said that this 328 was a one owner car. So they should know its history !
Hi I just went on line and the dealer is permanently closed so it was dead end. It pained me to see that when they had it, it had the original spare tire in place, which leads me to believe that the books were there also. I hate people that separate these beautiful classics from their original documents just to make a quick buck. They don’t understand the importance of being a good steward of the masterpieces for the next generation. Regards Carlos
Hi everyone!!! I’m the proud owner of a 1986 328, that I just recently purchased. I live in Florida and I’m in the hunt for my original warranty card so I can reunite it with my car. The last 5 of my vin number are 66025. If anyone comes across this card please reach out to me. I’m working very hard to bring everything back home so the car can be all together. It’s a one owner car with 26k miles. I tracked it from the original owner to a dealer auction in New York. Before that the original owner was in New Jersey, so there’s a good chance the card is in the east cost. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thanks Carlos
