Is Magneto worth reading? Seems like it's only available by mailorder or subscription, not via newsstands. Is it worth the efforts?
I haven't really dug into it yet, but the format, masthead and editorial direction are all impressive.
I had a look at it in my local car dealer the other day. Looks like a good magazine. Quite different to Enzo.
They NAILED it! But they won’t be getting my subscription renewal. Like I pointed out previously............i’m crazy, but I’m not stupid.
Who says that "Magneto" is not available on newsstands? I just bought a copy of #2 at the Barnes & Noble in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, for $18.99 (less my B&N member discount). It looks pretty good, though a lot of the pages have too much unused space. None of the other area stores seems likely to carry the magazine. That particular B&N seems to have become Atlanta's "flagship" store, not surprising since Buckhead is Atlanta's high-end district. They are also the only local B&N to carry "Automobilsport", whose issue #20 ($21.99) highlight's IMSA's anniversary with several articles, the main one featuring Gurney's dominant Toyota Eagle Mk. III, and also a bio on Juan Manuel Fangio II. For Ferrari fans the issue has a nicely-photographed article on the collection of Uwe Meissner. (A suggestion: since this thread is supposed to be about "Enzo", I think that all further discussion about these magazines should be moved to that other, recently created, magazine thread. Eh?)

23 days to get a replacement? Ludicrous. They obviously keep no inventory in the U.S., and ship from the UK via tramp steamer. And no mention of delay in shipping the original copy....simply blame the postal system. I dare say that both the Royal Mail and USPS are more reliable and efficient than the Dennis distribution system.
Saturday I received.....postmarked Belgium.....a secondly copy of issue 8. I suppose I should check to make sure they haven't charged me for two subscriptions....
Today, I received a 2nd copy of Enzo #8. I've also received numerous notifications to renew my subscription. Seriously? I can't imagine a company saying in business for very long with their process model.
I find it incredible that some subscribers get two issues of the same number 8 and others don't get it (#8) at all (me), despite two fully paid subscriptions,,,,,,,,,,,, These Enzo mag guys really appear to be complete amateurs. Marcel Massini
Jack Thank you but not necessary. A friend of mine will be in the UK tomorrow Thursday 4th July and will buy me a copy at Heathrow airport. Really appreciate your very kind and generous offer, many thanks. Marcel Massini
