Hello all, I humbly would like to announce that I am now a first time Ferrari owner. I took delivery of my 2007 F430 this afternoon. I bought it from a fellow Fchatter earlier in the week. I'll just post these teaser pics for now but rest assured a ton more pics and vids will be coming. I still feel like this is a dream to not just own a Ferrari but a really SICK F430!! Never in my wildest dreams would I thought I could buy one of these. While the car was being unloaded a few cars stopped and took pics, and the driver told me to get use to that kind of stuff because it will happen all the time.
There is nothing humble about that, nor does their need to be! Congrats! Unfortunately, your pics don't seem to be showing.
Congrats! She's a beauty! Yes, to most of us - its a dream car come true. You will from time to time and every once in a while will be going down to your garage to take another look at that beautiful rolling piece of art street legal race machine sitting in your garage waiting for you to drive her. Enjoy and please dont let it be a garage queen. They are meant to driven. Drive safely and always drive her the way its designed to be driven and meant to be driven. Dan
Congrats and welcome to the club. Every drive is an experience to remember just try and get as many of those as you can Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats! Looking at your car, I wish I went with yellow caliper instead of red. Drive your car and get to know all the quirks so nothing comes as a surprise down the road.
And dont forget, first thing you do as soon as you get back home from a drive and pulled in to your garage - pop the engine bay hood open and let the heat escape. That will prevent the engine bay heat from cooking all the plastic & rubber parts so that they will last longer. Dan

That will prevent the engine bay heat from cooking all the plastic & rubber parts so that they will last longer. A simpler method of accomplishing the same thing is when you get into your neighborhood, slow down, keep the rev's as low as possible and essentially idle into your garage. Not only will this cool the engine down, it will prevent your neighbors from overheating as well...
Another first on the list is to unplug those exhaust valves and let that engine sing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed, unless you want your wife to ride with you for more than ten minutes at a time! After our 4 hour drive to the Ferrari Biltmore Mansion event recently, my wife said “never again” will she take it on a road trip. Might be plugging my valves back in! I still don't have the title, it is fully insured though. Anyone have experience with Ferrari Financial and how long it takes them to send me the title so I can register the car?
Oh man!!! I never knew that.... I’m learning something new every time I’m on this chat. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Did you buy in Cali? If so, you should of gotten temp plates. I got mine from Miami (which was a mistake), it took two weeks to get the registration and plates, but I just drove it anyways. Not saying you should do that, I just couldn’t resist. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
