The Ferrari Owners Charitable Foundation (FOCF) is a Bay Area 501(c)(3) nonprofit benefit corporation established to support nonprofit organizations that work to improve our communities, with an emphasis on organizations providing services and advocacy for disadvantaged youth and those addressing public health concerns. FOCF harnesses the broad interest in and passion for contemporary and vintage Ferrari automobiles as a means of drawing attention to and support for worthy charitable causes.

Now in its ninth year, the FOG Rally has become synonymous with excitement, fellowship, and charity. We are proud to announce that Make-a-Wish ® , Greater Bay Area will continue as our charity partner for the 2019 FOG Rally making this the sixth year of our partnership. To-date the FOG Rally has raised over $1.475M to fund over 130 wishes earning the honor of being recognized as the top external fundraising event for this important organization.

In 2019, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area will celebrate its 35th anniversary of providing service to Bay Area wish kids and families. In honor of this special anniversary, the goal of the 2019 FOG Rally is to fund 35 wishes by raising $350,000.

For those of you who are not familiar with Make-A-Wish ® it is one of the most recognized and respected charities in the world with the simple, but powerful belief that wishes make life better for kids with critical illnesses. The Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area chapter was founded in 1984. In its first year, a total of 27 wishes were granted. Now one of the largest chapters nationwide, they have granted over 8,600 wishes to date and grant approximately 400 wishes per year.

2019! FOG RALLY DETAILS —

Limited to 50 Ferraris, the 2019 FOG Rally begins Thursday night, September 5th, with the Launch Party and fundraising evening at the historic Menlo Circus Club in Atherton. Departing the next morning, Friday September 6th, the Rally traverses truly iconic driving roads through some of the state's most beautiful scenery to the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. With the grandeur of Yosemite as a backdrop, Saturday, September 7th, is a day filled with driving fun, fine food, and camaraderie. On Sunday September 8th, Rally participants will enjoy a final breakfast together before returning to the Bay Area or continuing to explore on their own.

And that's not the the end of the 2019 FOG Rally experience - we have something special planned! Rally registrants will also attend the invitation-only Wrap Party and check presentation on Saturday, September 28 in the private venue housing Art Zafiropoulo’s splendid car collection.

I was talking to the founder of one of the most popular Monterey Car Week events. He asked me, “What makes the FOG Rally different than all of the other road / charity rallies?”

There are two aspects of the FOG Rally that make it different and unique. First, it’s limited only to Ferraris, of any vintage. And second participants have the opportunity to meet and interact with Wish Kids and families, to personalize the impact of their participation in the FOG Rally. This is a very different experience then simply writing a check or providing a credit card number.
