I’m finally working on getting the interior back together on my 348. I tired of driving it around without the seat bolted down and no seatbelts. Working on the doors and Lord help me I couldn’t resist adding some courtesy lights. I’m sure the purists won’t like it but I do like them.

Lol, yeah, Ricing it up. I think they will look pretty flashy in the dark. Not that I ever drive it at night anyway.

I have an extra Lamborghini Diablo SV rear spoiler sitting around that I should try bolting on it next. :)

Lights are a cool concept. Hopefully you won't get a cease and desist from Ferrari... ;)

I converted you had mine for about 5 yeas now.
They look great but same problemhardly ever drive at night. My only advice is put a plug right there so you can change them.
Myy first set only lasted about 3 years on the drivers side due to it being opened and closed so much.

I am not a big fan of mods and techy stuff.

Having said that... Where are the details of how you guys did this and what parts you used?

    :)

    Love it.

All i did was when i had the door off was to mount mine in the bottom of the door and tied it into the red door light for power.
I put a plug on mine so if it burns out i undo the screw, pull out the light, plug in anew one, do the screw back up without door removal now. Iused small rc plugs off old servos.

I did the same, I tied into power on the red door light. I did it right at the blade connectors to the light so I didn’t affect the Ferrari wiring at all. I didn’t make any provisions Incase the bulb burnt out though. I figured the little LED would last a long time.
If anyone wants a pair let me know. I actually bought these about 5 years ago when I had both my 355 and 348. I just never got around to installing them before I sold the 355. So extra pair sitting around...

Keep the extra pair as the light does not burnout but the colors fade a lot over 3 years and become just white light.

I might do that then. I’m actually considering putting the 348 up for sale after I get done with the restoration though so I might not have it that long anyway.
