I originally paid $400 for the 458 WSM in PDF - and I think that was after talking the price down from $600. Like you say, not easy to find it. It's like 2000 pages or something; you can practically build a 458 using it. Ray
Hey, does anyone have the repair manual for the 458 and the 488 gtb, possibly the 812 also? Start a conversation with me.
Glad to see this thread bumped. I would love to have a service manual that would cover my 458 Speciale. A manual for the Italia I imagine would be close enough for most things. I would easily pay $400 as mentioned for a PDF. The links given earlier in this thread seem to all be dead. How can I find such a manual?
I wouldnt pay so much... I found it for free online about a year ago. You would be surprised at what I found on the net.
People, I have found the 458 manual free before online. I understand that people might think I don't have the best intentions, but I just genuinely want to work on these cars and do it properly. This is a Ferrari forum, so why cant you just discreetly send me a link in my conversations?
Because some of us paid a lot for that, apparently. In my case, I never found a PDF for free online. Cost sharing might be an option in that case.
I found the one I got a couple years ago on one of my old thumb drives. Go figure. I almost paid hundreds of dollars for something that I got for free...
The digi 458 Workshop manual is extremely useful imo, glad that I bought it. I can resale it if needed.
hi guys- new on here - does the manual cover repair specs to chassis frame? im looking for repair specs for a 458 italia that has suffered some rear damage and has bent the 2 rear rails
Hi ray - does it give actual factory repair procedure to say replace rear subframe? Could I buy a copy off you if successful in purchasing the car
That's great. It actually looks better than the version I have. The one I have is from when the 458 first came out. I'm gonna grab the ebay one also. Ray
How many pages total? I wonder if it's more complete than what I own from some years back. The index looks a lot better. Ray
This might be the 2000 page manual. The best one I've seen. If only we could get one for the 488 GTB like this.
Thanks for the 458 WSM link! I don't need it now, but going to go ahead and buy it in case I ever do and they don't sell it anymore
Hi guys, I'm trying to understand if you can remove the door mirror plastic surround without taking off the door mirror. Looks like there is a allen key underneath but no details online as to whether this can be achieved. I have the workshop manual you have detailed above and this does not provide anymore insight. Any ideas anyone please?
