Hopefully it will be built while I'm still young enough to get in it. The latest rumor is it will be unveiled in August and production start in December.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Does anyone have any idea why this 17 NFGT is not selling? I know it’s been sold several time and mired in controversy but at 600 plus miles should have a taker. With demand exceeding supply it begs the question.

Knowing the selling dealership, I am sure they are asking over-the-top price.

People in the high end car market don't want cars that have been "whored" out. Everyeone wants to feel like they "discovered something"

makes little sense to me but it is prevalent

Looks like same wing as the race version. The roof scoop looks higher than on the race version, which is pretty far back and low unlike that silhouette.

You mean if one is lucky enough to be picked to buy one, BTW Ferrari of FT Laud is telling me once I receive the F8 I have to sign a right of first refusal and sell it back to them for the first 18 months....Is this now a Pro-forma tactic among Ferrari dealers or I am getting BS.

First right of refusal doesn't mean you can't sell it. It just means you have to give them a chance to give you back MSRP first.

But I think using Ferrari as an excuse for how Ford has its policy is pretty lousy excuse.

If someone wants to plunk down $500K and then the next day sell it, why should anyone care?

Technically, since the 3rd generation is known as the New Ford GT, then the enhanced (new and improved) version should be known as the New New Ford GT.

I thought the "new" Ford GT WAS the track version.....

So the "new" "new" Ford GT is the "This time we mean it" version?

I don't understand this "right of first refusal" deal. Who sets the price of the car? The owner? The dealer? It's the owner's car...if the retail market is trading at MSRP+++, why would the owner sell back to the dealer at MSRP rather than wait 18 months and one day?
