Hi all, I have a problem with my Ferrari 360 F1. I started it this morning and as soon as I put it into reverse the engine stopped. I had not driven the car for a couple of months prior but it was on trickle charge. The battery is fine (12 months old and reading 12.6 volts but the F1 Gearbox light is on the dash now which I have never seen before. I have checked the battery, turned the battery isolator off for 20 minutes and back on with no difference, There is oil in the f1 reservoir (half full). It is strange there is nothing there now at all when I turn the key it's like the engine will not even try to kick over. There are 4 beeps and the f1 pump sounds normal like its priming but that is it. I can change the gears from 1 neutral and reverser when the ignition is on. I have locked and unlocked the car with the remote and there is no change. Any ideas people ?? Cheers in advance.
F1 system.pressure is low. The car will not start. It wont even allow the starter to engage. First clear the faults in the trans TCU, and engine ecu, and then they again to start the car.
I and thank you the symbol is on constantly I think if it flashes the pressure is low. The car makes a strange hum when you try to kick it over.
You may want to verify that brake lights come on when brake pedal is depressed. A 360 F1 will not start if brake switch malfunctions. Would not activate any warning lights though so it does sound like F1 issue.
