le bleu blanc et rouge striping made me dizzy - utterly detestable track for viewing, wonder how it is from drivers' viewpoint
Will LeClerc beat Vettel in the points despite Ferrari trying to favor Vettel? As hard as Ferrari has tried to promote Seb he is only 24 points ahead Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did not even watch the race, as mentioned last week..........done with F1. Look at the starting grid, look who is on the podium. This isn’t auto racing, it’s just high speed parade laps. If anyone actually “races” the drivers are whinnying to the officials, flags fly, penalty points/time given. At least in other open wheel racing, you can actually pass someone without getting it trouble. Just boring .........even the highlights I just checked ........boring.
I couldn’t be bothered to watch the display live today, so I sky plussed it and watched it on fast forward. I had intended to only speed past the boring bits, but had I done that, it would have lasted just a couple minutes! What a snore fest..... Jesus Christ, liberty think they have a show? Where? A show of what? **** me, I’ve had more interesting conversations with Elton fans on here As for penalties, and lack of them, if Sebs penalty was correct last week, today would have had at least two sets of penalties added to race times, but of course, last race was a farce, and total ********, so this week, as it wasn’t necessary to penalise Ferrari to protect Mercedes, we didn’t see any penalties required.... mind you, Chas has a pop towards the end, more hopeful than determined, but at least he tried. Bottles had him covered though, but good lad, you never know when someone will drop a bollock and let you through by mistake. F1 has a serious problem, chatting today with a group of young racers about racing in general, guess what they don’t bother watching anymore, and think is a mess? Yep, you guessed it, the supposed pot of gold at the end of their rainbow. They all want to get there for the MONEY, but as for racing, they laughed when I asked if they think the level of driving required for F1 is a different league to the rest. Most of them thought MotoGP was more of a test of bravery and skill than f1, where the car does everything for you, and you you just need to know how to race and get used to the actual speed of handling and response When these guys think it has nothing to do with racing, it’s time liberty and the FIA took notice, because they are killing F1, not even softly Forza Ferrari
For those interested, ESPN 2 is rebroadcasting this race at 7:00 pm eastern time in the US. Mods, please don't ban me.
Same here. I got IndyCar on and the racing will be much much better. And I got to sleep in, which is nice being on Pacific time.
Or for something more interesting watch paint dry, wow that was another boring dull race. F1 has truly jumped the shark, it is nearly as bad as Formula E...
Great circuit! Like the race Dixon is running from the back into the top 10. F1 castoffs Rossi and Sato doing well
You must be new to F1. In the past you could predict Senna to win, Schumi, or Red bull. This F1, nothing new.
Well played! Even the Sky announcers were bored, feel bad for the fans that paid to watch yet another parade, the product is the worst I can remember, it did not help that Grosjean let the cat out of the bag earlier this week that most the time they trundle around at 40% of the cars capability to manage the tires. Pinnacle of motorsport, hardly.
The 2021 rules package don't include fixing the tires. We'll have more of the same boring races despite having a raft of essentially pointless new rules.
Proper racing here, touching, overtakes...it's like a DTM race they rub so much! Penalties galore in F1, here it's LET THEM RACE!!! Speaking of Penalties, I see Ricciardo is the latest victim of the FIA manipulators.
Rare to have this big of a gap in Indy from lead to 2nd place, but still not a predictable race. Over 8 F1 races thus far, all won by 2 drivers for 1 team. Over 10 Indy races thus far, won by 6 different drives from 5 different teams.
