Big day today. Front hubs came off quite easily, now I can send the brake shields off for cleaning and I’ll replace the wheel bearings. Ian then came over and proceeded to twist my stuck nut. What a head**** and a half. Turns out it was basically corroded and stuck. Luckily Ian came well prepared with a dremel and eventually the ****ing thing came off. I pulled the brake pads out of the calipers tonight and boxed the calipers to send out for rebuilding. These guys in the link below, Ian’s recommendation. I’ll blame him if they **** it up Cleaned/blasted, seals +/- pistons then painted silver. They don't look that bad...remembering it's the bit behind the rubber that's most important. The rubbers aren't as roached as some iv'e seen that still work ok.
