Another bit that's ... curious... how are they putting an active hybrid engine, even a 6-cylinder, into an older platform like the Portofino? Correct me if I'm wrong ( I know that nobody would do so without my prompting ) but as far as I know the Portofino is not built on the new modular platform ... so how is it accommodating the active hybrid kit and battery technology which ostensibly gets arrayed into bespoke ampoules within the floor pan found only in the next generation platform? The Portofino admittedly has not been the subject of intense study by Yours Truly so perhaps another member can enlighten ...

I believe Portofino is built on new modular chassis.

    In Europe maybe.

We have 75MPH zones in CA. We are the car capital of the WORLD. Not happening.

And Texas? Alabama? Florida? Forget about it. They're running black smoke stack Cummings trucks out there.

    'Murica.

As always thank you very much for you infos.
I think these two models are going to be the F8 Spyder and the 812 Spyder. The Portofino coupe should deserve a separated event i guess..

    Thank you very much.
So not only the F169 will be delayed, but could possibly have a different powertrain from what previously expected

    Hi Ferr9000!
And can you give us the date of the new testarrosa/NA car with 9500 rpm.
    I’ve heard it’s a V12.

    Thank you

Its not reliable information, its a fact. But I dont know if it will be the testarrosa revival, Icona or regular production model. I wish they could ballance the fact that most future cars will be hybrid and launch this car without FAP.
Also dont know if CF chassis but for the price they asked it must be Icona.

An equally interesting question would be this: if Ferrari are bringing back the Mid/Rear V12 layout for a non-super car, does this then mean that the F12/812 family of GT V12 cars is being phased out? The Daytona, Testarossa, and Maranello were not produced contemporaneously.

    Very good question ,
A legit question if you know Ferrari history .
Time have changed and they already said that their final objective now is a much wider range of vehicle.
I believe we will see mid engine V12 AND Front engine V12 in a close future ( icona or normal range )

For sure a question in the direction of ferr9000 mainly:
Still convinced Maranello will show the F8 Spider in September this year?
Dealers here pretent to knowing no more than nothing...!

I can’t say the date but I don’t think that I will take long before it leak out. The started to invite people now for the unveiling of the 812 LE (spider) en 8F spider. Both will be show on a separate date close to each other.
