I have seen some thread about using a Volvo S60 R or V70 R spare tire. I can not find it again. Is there anyone out there that can verify that it will fit over the brimbo brakes?

Yes, the space saver, fits in the ft boot. I drive way out in the country roads where there is not any help.

I was worried about the offset of the wheel hitting the caliper. I never thought that just put a spacer behind it. It will only be used if I need it. that will give me a lot more latitude in buying a space saver. volvo and jaguar make them.

Has anyone ever used the tyre inflator foam spray can with any success in the event of a puncture (especially on the rear tyres)? Either the OEM one (which must be well beyond its use by date by now) or an equivalent aftermarket modern replacement?

    Thanks!

I purchased a front wheel and tire off of eBay for $220.
I checked it on the rear and it fits without clearance issues.
I checked my Modular front rim before I bought a front star rim that is the same size.

I got a spare tire from a XJ Jag off Ebay
    09-15 Jaguar XF 18" Spare Donut Compact Rim Wheel Tire 10 11 12 13 14 XJ8 S Type

It will hit the caliper without some washers or a spacer I made
I had to take off the wheel holder and 13 mm bolt to hold the brake disc in place, I guess you could drill some holes in the spare wheel, maybe when I am bored and have nothing else to do!!
I also put some tools in the boot and made a better wheel holder, just cut the head off a 14m bolt.

You will need some new lug bolts, also Ebay--
    10pc Lug Bolts | 14x1.5 | 40mm Shank | Cone Acorn Conical Seat | Zinc Plated
Had to cut them to 30mm long, so if you can find 30mm shank, get them.

Got the jack at a Ford junkyard, starts real low and goes real high!! Also have 2 hockey pucks, one is shown.

Everything cost about 150.00. My friend could make some more spacers if there is any interest

My mechanic gave me a 360 spare when I had a 456M. Then I got the 360 and already had one! They also work on 456, 456M, 550, and 575M.

I put a new tire on mine before the California trip back in 2019. The original was ancient. Don't forget about that.
