UK dealer Tom Hartley Jr. together with V Management organised this week an exquisite and very private 35th Anniversary Tour for a few selected 288 GTO owners from all over the world. They came from USA, Canada, South Africa, England, Germany, Ireland and other places, and spent several days in the South of France. Pace car was a La Ferrari from the UK. Among the guests is also golf pro and 288 GTO owner Ian Poulter. Here are some impressions taken yesterday.

Awesome, that's better than the factory's effort with 4 cars.

FWIW our 2009 288 GTO Reunion, in California assembled 15 cars, made up of 14 288 GTOs and 1 GTO Evoluzione.

The 288 GTO 35th Anniversary Tour ended early Tuesday morning in the legendary Restaurant Cipriani in Monaco. Each participant received a leather bound book with all the tour deails plus a blue 288 GTO Tour hat and other stuff as well. Throughout the tour mechanical service was provided by Italian 288 GTO specialists Autofficina Carlo Bonini of Cadelbosco di Sopra (Reggio Emilia), a highly recommended official dealership. Fortunately Bonini had very little to do as all 288's seemed to be in almost perfect condition and there were no major issues at all.
The 35th Anniversary Tour had been organised by Tom Hartley Junior and golf pro Ian Poulter with assistance from UK specialists V Management.
Nine 288 GTO's took part, and a red La Ferrari was used as pace car.

Fantastic event. Great to see cars from all over the world. Ian Poulter’s car is exceptional. I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time looking it over at the Cavallino Classic in January.
