I am concerned MY2021 will be finale for 812 due to new EU regulations requiring redesigns...I hope there is an 812VS + Aperta, but if they wait until Geneva 2021 there won't be enough time as I presume there is no 812 production for MY2022...

    I posted this previously:

Production for 812 in EU has to end MY2021, too many changes for MY2022 that include modifications to the chassis, so my general assumption is MY2021 is last for 812 and all its variations.

    https://ec.europa.eu/docsroom/documents/34588

    especially these:

    Pole side impact occupant protection

Full-width frontal occupant protection crash test + improved seatbelts

Head impact zone enlargement for pedestrians and cyclists -safety glass in case of crash

    more details:

Same mirror used on 2019 Lusso with surround camera so likely same for 812

If you read through this thread I think you will find a post by Marcel that states this (IIRC it is this thread).....I consider his information to be very reliable.

Some will probably get an invitation from Maranello, and others will get the VIP treatment via their dealers. So a bit of both I think. Just my guess.

Heard a bit of buzz about a change in power figures for the 812 Spider. Note, very loose rumour. Anybody else heard anything? The guy I spoke to, hinted that a bump in power similar to what they did on the 599SA was part of the Spider. Nothing exact here either, but along the lines of 860-870PS.
Not sure I buy it, but I do like the idea.

Maybe they are doing this to compensate/quiet complaints over the addition of the gfp?

If true, that would actually be about 915PS because of the 5% loss or so due to the GPF (to net 870PS you have to start much higher PS when GPF devices are fitted), that would be an amazingly huge bump, more than the F12 to the 812. The 5% loss due to GPF is on the low side but I presume Ferrari will use the least restrictive GPF devices they can....

No headroom for such a power rise. The 6.3 litre version in the FXX produces 860 CV and that's a non-road legal version. For the Monza they went up to 810 CV and they have said that the engine is near its power limits. The next V12 will have to be a new design. At any rate, a power bump makes more sense in the upcoming hardcore version.

PS: The 599 SA had GTO's engine, but that was a limited production model.

    It's debatable that there will be a next V12 at all . . .

Any views as to whether someone will produce a bypass or other solution to avoid GPF, assuming the car has one fitted?

Details I saw suggest the GFP is a large device and might be hard to bypass...?

That would make any new model less appealing

I just heard eligibility for 812 spider to be pretty high: need to own 5 F cars.
Is this something anyone has heard elsewhere or is it an urban legend?

My dealer told me, he have absolut no infos about the 812 spider. So the rules to own five Ferrari cars must be wrong. I ordered a F8 Tributo and a 812 Spider. He will tell me after the German Ferrari Racing Days from 05.07 until 07.07.19 at the Nuerburgring more. My order is in his system and he said, I have a 50 percent chance. He will know more in September after the dealer confernce in Italy. I own just one car.
