Havent seen the F8 in person and the dealer doesn't know but if its anything like the 488 GTB have a look at the roof lining . If its like the 488 standard ( looks and feels like a scouring pad ) ild suggest leather or alcantara if you have speced that in your car. Also the monochromatic option. This feature improves the rear view mirror to a quality item . One that doesn't look like it came out of a 1985 corolla

Why spend $350k on the car only to have to change the wheels as soon as it's delivered, no thanks.

Rosso Scuderia 456 sounds absolutely lovely. Would love to see some pics.

I don’t mind the launch wheels either. Definitely don’t think the standard wheels are nicer. He went with the upgraded wheels in diamond finish. I maybe would not have chosen the diamond finish but I wanted it to be his spec and there are no wrong choices really. I think it looks good and is a very classic spec with a few twists. The F8 is a great looking car. Not quite as nice as Pista overall but it has its own vibe and is a very good looking car.

And definitely looks good in the flesh on the road IMO.

This vid shows the inside trim well...looks good - car has been very nicely spec'd.

That's due to you being spoiled by the sound of the 580-2.

The rear of the Pista looks so much more track focused and represents arguably the most aesthetically exciting back end of any Ferrari in a long time.

Actually Lamborghini's Ad Personum program offers a ton of customization as well.

The outright greed exhibited by all 3 super car manufacturers when it comes to options is egregious. $800 for homelink, $1000 for bluetooth, $4000 for navigation,( all standard on the Civic LE) and up to $25000 for paint just to name a few. Outrageous!

Exotic manufacturers have to have the initial price point low enough to attract/lure customers in. They might as well have a mask and a gun on some of the options pricing. It's where they make most of their profit I would imagine. It's how they all do it and I'm sure they have it down to a science.

Whats amazing is how I will overpay and spec options without hesitation but will negotiate for other sums that pale in comparison . I just negotiated a thousand dollar savings on some tree trimming and felt like a huge winner.

Lol - so true. There was an old joke about a guy who lost hundreds of thousands in the stock market and was calm and said it's just a correction. Then this same guy would be banging and kicking a vending machine because it took his .75 cents for a snickers bar.

You did this because subconsciously you knew you could use that thousand dollars to pay for one Scuderia shield on your next Ferrari - lol.

Good point. Every savings subconsciously is allocated towards options.

    Truth

Bronchoconstriction of the F8 exhaust, I like the comparison.

Several grand for Apple Carplay is a joke when its standard on so many economy cars.

It's a compay that carges 4000+ Euro for a 100 Euro CF cupholder. Not much to be said for pricing... it is what it is.

Yikes - that's an extreme example. They have figured out a way to legally have a mask and a gun.

I turned down my F8 allocation after having the 488 and not liking it. However, I think if Ferrari had skipped the 488 and the Pista altogether and simply went directly from the 458 to the F8, it probably would have been received quite a bit better than it has been. And now, bringing the F8 out right on the heels of the 488, that has sort of made the 488 feel a lot like the F430 did - just an odd ball in-between model that nobody really ever warmed up to.

I'm not a fan of the F8, but I will say one thing: I'd take the rear end design of the F8 over the Corvette inspired taillights of the SF90 any day!
