I was watching the Victory by Design DVD and really liked the red/blue combination seen on the classic 50's and 60's racers. It's not as conservative as the color combos seen on F-cars today, but I was wondering why these colors are not standard selections on modern Ferraris.

So, I took a few minutes to PShop up a few pics. They're not great pics, and I realize some of the shadows/reflections will be off, but I was just wondering what people thought of this color scheme.

    What's the call?

Looks half way decent on the stradale, but not a fan on the open tops.

I guess people aren't attracted to it. No worries, I was just testing the waters.

No Darth, I wouldn't paahk it ther. lol. The more I see it, the more I think I'd pass too. But I remember as a teen I wanted a silver 993TT with a solid blue interior.

Yes Dale, I do. A lot! And several days of dishes waiting on the counter I'm procrastinating.

I guess it will just have to stay on classics like this TR:

That classics with blue interior weren't leather though. It would work, IMO, on a 575GTC or 360GT or some other race car with an interior that is (almost) as spartan as those classics.

The reason for the blue cloth dates back to one night they had to make the seats out of worker's overalls!!!

Once they had a little more time, they used leather, or in at least a couple of street cars, alligator!

    So chomp, chomp!!!

They built a few cars out of stolen highway ad signs too, but no need to go back there!! LOL!
