Does anyone know if the pictured car is actually Verde Tevere Metalizzato (Max Meyer 16.223)? It is described as such, but I have my doubts. A google search is not definitive.

If not, what colour is it please?

    Many thanks

Camlet1 commented on that green 250 SWB in post #4862 of the Pista picture thread and his comment is copied below >

Yes, I mentioned it. The 250 SWB was painted a few years ago by DK Engineering. The colour was a replica of Verde Tevere.

I agree the color doesn't really look like the Maserati picture example of Verde Tevere. That is an old picture with perhaps not an accurate representation of the actual paint color on the car. Can someone with the original formula for this paint re-create the color accurately? Good luck with your efforts!

Next up was Joe Macari. This impressive dealership is based in a London area where you wouldn’t expect to see cars like an F50 or the F12tdf with a custom Zanasi front bumper parked outside under a layer of sand dust. After we parked the car and starting walking towards the main dealership, we noticed their 250 GT California Spider lurking in the showroom. We entered and were greeted by a bunch of Lamborghinis.
We were distracted by a line-up of incredible cars such as a LaFerrari Aperta without any stripes, a black 275 GTB and a Verde Tevere 250 GT SWB.

Take the color code to a paint supply shop and get the paint and have a spray out done.

Thats the only way to tell

Thanks for all the replies. I found the car on this page here:

    https://barchetta.stage.mediacenter.plus/Automobiles/-/Ferrari/?so=DateTaken-DispOrder-SortOrder&l=de&ft=search.3657GT&v=a&dir=1964569&rd=1964537&flat=true

Seems to me that it is the same car as described by Joe Macari, having been verde tevere originally, before dark blue and then painted back in original verde tevere by DK Engineering. This fits with the green pictures in the link, which are mainly copyright DK engineering 2015.

Only thing puzzling me is that the darker pictures in the link above show the green in a very different hue to the lighter pictures. I am hoping that it might just be that verde tevere is very sensitive to different lighting and can look very different in one circumstance to the next?

Those studio shots make the color look more like verde pino.

If you're thinking about using this colour on a project Max Mayer is now owned by PPG. A bodyshop that uses PPG should have access to the database, if not Max Mayer still exists in the UK.
