Ok everyone, try to go easy on me... This is my first ad on here and any help or constructive criticism would be appreciated. I know some of you can be savages (probably warranted, though.) ;) I'm relatively new to the Ferrari world.

I have a 1998 F355 GTS F1 Coupe 6-speed. 15,725 miles. Clean, Texas title. Rosso Barchetta original paint. Paddle shifters. Car has sticky buttons like most of them do, including the ash tray. A close friend of mine knew I was looking for one, and works at a bank. He notified me of the car, which was sitting in their covered garage for 5 years, so I bought it. Had the car fixed up including: fuel injectors replaced, hoses & vacuums replaced, catalytic converter replaced, tires replaced, battery replaced, radiators replaced, spark plugs & wires replaced, ABS sensor replaced. The car is completely original otherwise. I have all original service documentation. I just don't drive it as much as I thought I would and figured someone else would have time to enjoy it. Looking to get 46k, but completely open to offers. Thanks for your time.

I'd throw the date of it's last major service, and serviced end items, on here.

What is going on under the hood?

-second power steering reservoir located on LH side
    - fuel filter in weird place

    Otherwise, the price is spectacular!

    Important
Last major service was done 5 years ago at Ferrari of Houston right before it went to the bank, with less than 100 miles put on between then and now. That being said, the car will need to have service not due to mileage, but due to the fact that it sat for 5 years.

Car is way underpriced. I would expect at least 65k.

From people that have seen it, Car reportedly needs quite a bit of work. So price seems right, maybe even high. But there are some good mechanics here up to the task of bringing it back.

Not really.... Hell of a nice guy but the the car was in rough shape. If it was a steal, I would have snatched it up long ago. :)

I passed on it long ago. Offered $48 site unseen from early ads. Awesome guy and easy to work with but the car had bad vibes. He should have taken my offer.... but his I passed, it popped up for $42k and I thought I should grab it regardless. Low miles and a project for sure.... but my money after learning more, thankfully not getting stuck at $48 and seeing it offers at $42 made me think it was a $38k car needing $30k in work.... maybe half that at DIY all parts??

Glad he sold it. I think it hurt him financially some which sucks. Someone got a good deal on a project to make nice and hopefully keep.
