I can tell you that if you want to put a warranty on your 458 the best is with Ferrari.
You can get 2 years for about 10,000.
I can tell you this, try to get an after market company pay for an engine or transmission repair when it could cost 15 to 20,000 bucks.
    But it’s your choice
    I have put 2 years on my 2015 458
Because I don’t want to worry about snug repair

My problem is that the ONLY Ferrari dealer in Houston takes 2 months for an appointment!!!!!!!

I called them with a check engine light on June 6 and he gave me a August 7th appointment!!!!!

I told him that My Ferrari 5k per year warranty will expire in July - he said he can’t do nothing and it won’t cover by the time the warranty starts.

Boy that's slack. Take the FERRARI insurance. It will be a nightmare if you go elsewhere.

If I were you I would call Ferrari North America and put a complaint in and tell them exactly how you are being treated.
I can tell you that here in New York we are treated dry well
    Sorry about your troubles

I agree, complain loudly, Scottsdale Ferrari has been very attentive and customer focused for me.

Guys I appreciate but the Houston guys really don’t care!!!!!

And to drive 3 hours with a trailer every time I need something is too much.

I don't want to say something which isn't 100% true.
But what I am about to say I believe to be true.
You only have to buy a NEW Ferrari from a dealer if you fall within their "zone".
Used cars and repairs can be purchased/done anywhere you like.
Because there is a BIG mark-up in the warranty, not to mention the cost of the service before you get the warranty, other dealers should be happy to sell you the warranty.
Plus, all the dealers are used to clients without a "home" (read: far from an authorized dealer) so they are familiar with providing safe transportation for your car.
Call around to the dealers mentioned - or any others. I doubt that you will have a problem getting service OR a warranty.
You can always use your local dealer in the future.

I have no personal experience with Ferrari of Houston but am curious as to why you say that ?
I was under the impression that "RyanFofH" was one of the "good guys" selling cars on this site.
However, I've noticed he hasn't posted in quite some time ...has he left ?
Please explain your statement or PM me if you prefer.
    Thanks

That's crazy. No customer would put up with that. If they are that busy then they need to find/hire some more techs. You could get in sooner to see a busy cardiologist in LA.
