I was just wondering if anyone has a guild to do an oil change on a 2015 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
I don't think it is in my manual either. Its a lot of pages and words but not a good read and they don't seem to encourage owner service. However, it is in the WSM. Also, if you pull the first two under body panels down, you can see the oil filter, crankcase bolts, oil hoses and the sump tank lower bolt. Whats different compared to a "normal" car is the draining of the sump tank and the splitting of the oil pressure hoses to drain out what you can from the radiator. I don't believe you need to use the Ferrari diag tool like with the brakes and the DCT but don't know for sure. You still need to return to the dealer though to turn off the service wrench indicator. The other thing that is different is the massive locomotive V12 block. It's scar big from below and one look at it lets you know the intent of the designers for this vehicle. The engine is the size of a couch. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It’s fairly easy to do. For me it’s easier to change the oil myself than to drop the car at the dealer. Plus I enjoy doing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oil was 231 with tax (you could find better deals online but I just went to a local store) filter was 80 and sump washer was like a few bucks.
On 2016 and up F12 you cannot turn off the service light. Only dealer tool can. 2015 and below I have an autel maxisys that will turn off the light and reset the service. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
