    My 2001 360 Modena have an oil leak and white smoke out of the tail pipes after the engine gets hot. Also I can see oil spray on the rear window. Help for the love of god.

    Overfilled motor oil is my guess.

    Yup, first thing to check is to PROPERLY check your dipstick (car warmed to operating temp and running) and make sure you are not overfilled...that will push oil into the intake manifold and then proceed to burn it. The spray on the rear window....are you sure it's oil? The hose going from the thermostat has a tenancy to pop (usually caused by trans mount movement), and it's right under the window. If your engine oil is overfilled enough to where it's spraying (which I've never seen in any car), then let's just say you are calling on the right love.

    OP did you buy that $35k burgundy Modena that had white smoke when it ran?

    It could be overfilled oil.. could even be head gasket..

    Check your levels, fyi:
    blue smoke = oil
    white smoke = water
    black smoke = fuel
