Looking for a set of driver 328 concave, non-ABS wheels so we can save the original factory wheels/tires for show purposes.

I sometimes see 7" fronts and 8" rears advertised for 308QV/328.... are they comparable?

What specifics do I need to look for to ensure the appropriate 328 wheels?

Quasi -- the bolt pattern and offset are OK, but the 328 wheels don't have the center protrusion that the 308QV wheels have where the cavallino emblem mounts. This interferes with the bearing grease cap on the front of a 308QV (so either the grease cap has to be left off - yuck! Or a special custom grease cap is required). Putting 308QV wheels on a 328 should be more compatible.

Thanks Steve...so, if I am understanding correctly 328 wheels on a QV would require some "modification" to the grease cap but 308QV wheels on a 328 would be ok. Albeit, the 308QV wheels would have a slight protrusion around the center cap area versus real 328 wheels (flatter centers) but would look "quasi" close to stock. Good enough for a driver.

    Am I understanding correctly?

Interesting - I looked up Superformance and they offer wheels for the 308 (and 208 etc.) but not the 328 - I figured from that that there must be a difference?

As usual, Steve has spoken. To insist: the offsets are exactly the same. Front wheels for the 328s, either concave or convex, are rather difficult to find.

That's more related to the availability versus the demand. 328 came with 16" wheels so there was never much demand for more of them. Since a lot of 308 came with 14" and 390mm wheels, there was/is a huge demand for the stock 16" 308 wheels -- so much demand that a company (KN something) invested in making molds for casting Aluminum alloy reproductions. These are the (aftermarket) 16" 308 wheels that F part companies (like SuperformanceUK) sell. The differences from stock 16" are:
    1. The are not the unusually high Magnesium content Aluminum Alloy (that Ferrari calls "light alloy") used on stock 16" 308 wheels, and
    2. The outside face of the 8" rears matches the form of the 7" fronts (this reduced KN's mold cost); whereas, on the stock 308 wheels, the outside face of the 8" rears is a somewhat different form than the 7" fronts.
They are still a very good value IMO, and would fit fine on a 328 (but can't say that anyone's ever reported doing that ;)). Used to be that 328 wheels were readily available, and very reasonably priced, but 308 owners seem to have depleted that supply, too.

As discussed above there's a restless evolution to the casting in 308/328 wheels.
They vary very subtly by manufacturer too.

To the OP I would think 328 wheels are still FAR more common as it's a rare and special thing for OEM 16" QV to sell in the market.
But a set just went in our Ads for $3K

Ferrparts should have some take offs....

What has happened with our cars rise in value is that people want the "correct wheel" for the year model.

It led to me trading some 14"s to an early car owner who had been running the later 16"s.
So I have both sizes, and run after market 16" on my early steel car, to get tire flexibility

The difference on the 308 stock wheels is the groove around the 'star' on the rears, which is no there on the fronts.

I have a set of Mondial T wheels that I am not using. They were painted black by the PO but fit fine on the 328 just FYI.
