    Got a call from my trusted local dealer, advising me that they had received an additional Pista Coupe allocation. My name apparently came up, and I was quite pleased to accept the invitation. Should be delivered as a '20. Just a data point for those who may be interested...

    What - a car that's been sold out for one year and commands a $150K premium on the used car market ;)

    Maybe Ferrari is reading Porsche’s playbook? First costly options out the wazoo now the mysterious “extra” allocations?

    Shades of RS’s?

    Seriously....good news for drivers who really want one, maybe not for short termers ......

    Thank the heavens above, I get to spec the car. My perception is that the dealer was pushing for an allocation and the powers that be gave them one as a gold star :)

    Your dealer didn't "push" for anything, that's just what they want you to believe. Allocations get released over time.

    As I've said from day 1, have sufficient history with your dealer and be patient. The Pista wait will be tougher than any other car you've ordered in the past, hang in there.

    Congrats man, Pista coupe is just such a beauty. Saw a Giallo one for sale at 100 over @ 550 all in at Ferrari Bev Hills showroom this past Friday, could not take my eyes off it

    Nice result getting a Pista allocation!
    However the real test is how that Pista will stack up against your track favourite the 675 LT? Grigio Ferro / cuoio alcantara but with no stripe - livery for your Pista...

    Congratulations! I drove the Pista 2 weeks ago flat out at Fiorano and the car was unreal. It feels so much faster and safer than both the 488 and 812 that I made more mistakes driving fast, this car makes the driver feel invincible. I go back home tomorrow and I’ll get to drive my newly delivered car properly for the first time, but now I know what to expect...You will love it!

    I was given an allocation last month. I almost wrote off getting one as they wanted me to buy a Portofino. What the hell was I going to do with a Portofino. LOL!
