Hi All. Is anyone buying a F8 in USA, and bring it over?, can you but it with Ontario License? If so, what is the process? If you are a snow bird (Have a home in FL for winter.), can you register in US and use it in Canada for 6 months? Thx/ Dan
Why wouldn't you just do the opposite? Buy a car in Canada w/ your Ontario DL and use it in FL for winter.
You can bring it over, but be ready to deal with a lot of RIV hassle and expense if you want to register it in Canada. If not, in Florida you can get a local DL while still keeping your Ontario one; you can then use the Florida one for insurance and reg, which then allows you to buy a car there. A lot of snowbirds do it, and taxes are much lower in Florida than here. As Andial says though, much easier to buy a car here and bring it down, especially now that you don't have to deal with the e-test nonsense anymore.
