Seems the new trend is that every chassis number now gets its own book.

I hope the information quality improves. The last book from that series was a bit disappointing (250 LM #6313).
Just my 0.2 cents, of course.

Just out of interest, do you buy the standard edition Marcel or spring for the limited edition leather covered versions of the Porter International books?
I can’t decide which to buy myself.

I did not even know that there are several editions! Never heard of that before.
    Standard is all I know.

The set at Catawiki didn't sell. With a high bid just below €1000,- (appr. $1200,-) it didn't met reserve.

Only one I have is #4, The First Three Shelby Cobras, and it's not good. With that title, much too little is spent on those three cars compared to the general history. Several of the pictures appear to be web-quality small JPGs they blew up to fit on the page. It didn't help I received the Shelby American Up Close and Behind the Scenes around the same time, which is fantastic and made the Excellent Cars appear even more poor in comparison.

The only one I have is #11, on GT40 Ch. No. 1075. The book was disappointing, did not live up to its promotion.

Just received my full set of Cavalleria Books.
I was starting to buy them individually, but found it cheaper and easier to purchase it as a complete set.

That being said, I have recently purchased 5 Cavalleria Books that I am interested in selling. I paid $100 each plus shipping and will sell them for $100 plus shipping.

I discovered this recently in a high street book shop. First published in Hungary in 2014 but this is a much more recent English edition from only last year. I have not had chance to have a proper look yet but it looks like a great little book.

I finally picked up a copy of Paul Parker's latest photo review of sports car racing, this time from the 1980s. It is uniform with his earlier volumes from the '50s, '60s and '70s, with the photos presented chronologically, with very thorough captions. At the end of each year's coverage, there is a listing of all the entrants with the drivers for each race, and a list of results. I have enjoyed this series and his parallel one covering F1, and look forward to further volumes. (Unfortunately, almost no Ferrari content, since Ferrari simply wasn't doing sports car racing in the '80s.)

I just received a copy I ordered today direct from the author. It is truly an impressive work and, as mentioned above, very heavy! I wonder when the author will add volumes for succeeding decades?

One question: in the results page for 1971, it indicates that the Penske Ferrari 512M was actually entered by NART. Is that the case, or this that a typo?
