We'll find out soon enough if the SF90 is legit or as you said, all a lie.

As I said, I don't make public absolute claims and proclamations on things that are unknown.

    That's just me.

Yes thanks - I went light on the carbon fiber but added blue CF which to me improves the look of the back end versus the black sections..

I'm a Ferrari newbie so mine will be a LONG wait unfortunately..

I don't know much about anything, but I can assure you the team that did the SF90 front end never looked at or even knew about that Camaro front end.
    Copying a 25 yr old American design? I don't think so! ;)

Please stop comparing SF90 stradale rear with a camaro.
    It's an absolute nonsense.

This blue is called "Abu Dhabi" - it's the middle shade of blue available - there's also the lighter corsa blue as well as a darker blue called "Blu Electrico" - this darker one has shades of purple in it..

That's beautiful John, thanks a lot for sharing with us. I really wanted to see how it looks without the black roof, and even if the rendering is not the flesh, I'm convinced it's far better than the two-tone livery

Congratulations. That will look fantastic. Photos don’t do the Blu Abhu Dhabi colour justice. If you look closely at the photos of the TDF in that colour, you see a kind of pink/purple metallic fleck that just makes the colour pop!

It is a fantastic color especially in direct sunlight. The configurator does not do it justice at all. We did our 812 in that color and love it!!

The red was good, but the grey was great. I could imagine in the daylight it might disappear a little but still, that grey car looked great.

Completely agree. It is utter rubbish. That car looks more like a Lambo than the SF90 and it really doesn’t look anything like a Lambo either. An American football looks like a Rugby ball, but they aren’t alike either.

And the frontal comparison is just laughable!

Notice how no one responded to his first post so he went ahead and posted the exact same thing a few posts later....

Clearly, his agenda is to get a reaction out of us and not to actually discuss this car. My advice, ignore.

Incorrect. First pic was a general observation as I got caught up on this thread. A few pages later, someone posted a string of headlamp shots in various colors. Thought it was a good opportunity to make a point. Sure, its clear that it is unlikely that the SF90 wasnt modeled after a 25 year old camaro, but there is still some similarity. Its not really debatable that there is widespread sentiment that the headlamps & front end could use improvement. I personally find the front end to be "too flat" and "beak-like". The headlamps themselves seem awkward and the way they place the LED's inside the headlamp housing do resemble the manner in which GM aligned the bulbs on a early 90's camaro. A few score of folks have stated that the backend tail lamps look strikingly close to a modern camaro. Likely a coincidence but also a mistake that Pininfarina would have never made. Many more have agreed that the backend styling lacks elegance/simplicity. Seems to me that youre just the type that wants to hear postiive comments. Perhaps a not-so-subtle inner voice seeking confirmation bias to justify your own viewpoints and/or future purchase.

Personally I would love it if Ferrari could create a new masterpiece that deflects the attention McLaren has taken from the brand. We all could benefit from some fierce competition. The F8 doesnt do it. The Pista does, but the premium pricing and difficulty in procurement dilute the allure. Unfortunately the SF90 doesnt do it either

I think it is a cool design. Somebody will always gripe about a design and it seems the Pinafarina guys could do no wrong in the minds of some folks. And some folks believe their opinions are de facto reality.

I like the SF99. Don’t think it is ugly. Don’t think it looks like a freaking camaro or a pinto either. Looks like an SF90. That’s my opinion.

I did move my deposit back the the F8. But not because of looks. Mostly because I don’t want the First gen of the hybrid tech.
