Hello carzilike! I sent you a PM, I’m seriously interested in buying your car if it’s still available, thank you.
Amazing car. Just amazinh. Purchased an 05 gated 430 on this site a few weeks ago. Had a 1999 gated 355 I traded in for a 2012 458. Missed the M/T way too much and now have quite possibly the most fun car to drive Ferrari ever built (I know there a handful of 599, 612 and California’s but I’m talking about the “poor man” M/T post 550/360, and even then we are subject to subjectivity). Anyone (at least most in my opinion) who has owned an F car understands the ADHD associated with such a vehicle. We all say “this is the one” and are already looking for the next F car weeks/days, or at the very least years after purchase. I’m only at weeks but THIS IS THE ONE. Life is short. Row your way through life one gated gear at a time! It does not get old. Whoever buys this car is one luck individual. Can’t beleive it’s been available for so long. Just not a ton of inventory out there. Proud to own it’s brother. GLWS.
Not as difficult as you think other than speedometer cluster needs to be changed over to miles. These vehicles are made to conform to north american standards meaning a Canadian car will meet the DOT / EPA guidelines. Also FNA would have to be paid for a compliance letter in order to verify that the vehicle does meet US standards even though its Canadian spec. Duty to be paid when the car crosses the border is 2.8% of purchase price and a customs broker will cost a few hundred dollars. Look up a place called Francorchamps America. They will recalibrate and put new dial on the speedo. It costs about $800-1000
Please call me asap, live in Sarnia so not far away, I will buy it Alan 519-466 6630. [email protected]
