That slot is usually a blank (at least in US cars). Looks like the prior owner hooked a switch to operate something. I have seen where some owners hook a valve controller to the slot.
Looks awful in a 430 would be more peroid correct in something like a 308 etc Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Just relooked at the picture and did not originally see the set of 3 toggles in the silver housing with the Ferrari logo. Don't know what the heck those are for. My reference above was regarding the 3 black switches and blank for the gas door release, frunk release and defroster.
Power switches for whatever the original owner set them up as. You'll see these often in off-roaders with off road lights, light bar, electric fans, etc. In a F430? I can only guess, boost, cooling, under body glow lol.
Maybe they make missile and gunfire noises for when you're pretending to shoot down other cars. Or maybe they jiggle the F1 linkages in different ways for when you're stranded by it refusing to go into gear.
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! I can't believe one of these are for sale! That option was only available of less than 1% of 430's! Specifically made for the most distinguished customers that require the built in back massager. Someone needs to buy that car NOW.
Definitely aftermarket/homemade. My guess is exhaust valve....and then......ok, maybe smoker screen and machine gun. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Wait! wait! I got it, I got It !!!!! First switch is submarine mode to sink the competition, second switch is for helicopter mode (makes the blades come out the top) so you can fly over Lambos and McLarens, and third switch, well that’s for tank mode, to crush Vettes and Fords. I test drove this today. Those switches are for aftermarket LEDs for the engine bay. Always risky modifying these cars if it can't be easily reverted to stock, it can turn some buyers off.
I'm sorry, that's far too much of an anti-climax. I think we should stick with the current guessing game.. I think the switches are (from L to R of course): - Invisibility cloak - Manifold safety mode (guarantees they do not crack, so why it's off only heaven knows) - Depreciation prevention
Then why do you want to buy it if you no one else knows what it's for? Also that red $1.99 switch is a hack job and don't belong there.
