Interesting Info, in the Fiorano spec. is no „lift“ option available.

I am sure it is great for track driving. Road driving, not so much.

The 2014 Camaro Z28 had multi matic shocks and it weighed about 4,000 pounds and seemed to drive OK on road and track.

I am sure that you understand that Multimatic is just a brand, like KYB. Try the KYB Excel dampers and they are yellow-mellow. Now try the Gold KYB... Same brand, totally different product!!!

H.R. Owen appears to be the first dealer to have the SF90 Stradale grace it's showroom. They are on a roll having previously featured the exclusive Monza SP1 there as well! Thanks

It's an internet forum. That it's an opinion should be implied. But to your point, I will say that in my opinion, the rear is a giant mess. There's a lot of competition and usable performance is basically fungible among marques. Styling matters. This fails in that regard.

The driving experience differs vastly and that's far more important than styling; These are cars after all, not immobile sculptures.

Said HR Owen displayed SF 90. New "atelier" opened in Berkeley Square replacing the one in Knightsbridge.
Charles LeClerc opened it last Thursday.

Note how low the engine sits compared to a La Ferrari or 488 family car.

The low engine placement is awesome from an engineering and CG standpoint, but I’m not sure there’s much advantage to displaying it anymore, based on the pic above? The SF90 is the first mid-engined Ferrari where I’d be tempted to choose a spider variant over the coupe. I could also accept a 100-200 lb weight gain when it already weighs 4,000-ish lbs in coupe form. It’s not like it doesn’t have enough hp to move the extra weight, too.

The engine is only 50mm lower! The design of the rear half of the car makes it seem like it's 50cm (or more) lower than in the 488.

Be glad it is visible at all. That is my only disappointment with the 720S - other than a glimse of the intake through the deck cover, the engine is hidden. They actually put red LED lights in the engine bay so you can see it at night, one of the car's several party tricks. Like the SF90 Stradale it is positioned extremely low to reduce the center of gravity. The McLaren engines aren't as visually appealing as Ferrari but I'd still like to see more of it!

SF90 Stradale sure seems to be designed for subsequent Spider variant, and I expect it will look fantastic... just look at the LaFerrari Aperta!

It's typically the second or third question all males ask when they see a Ferrari "can you show the engine please"!
Hence why showing the engine still is a major party trick that always works and for a lot of people a treat a true exotic should have.

    Agreed.
The interesting thing is the chap above saying that in actual fact it is only 50mm lower and that it looks so low is because of the profile of the body work.

Funnily enough we were at an event on Sunday with a guy with La F' Aperta. He said that engine feels like it behind your neck, this one looks like its behind your kidneys.

Not an engine. It's a "power unit." And it has about as much visual appeal as can be said for anything called a "unit."
