Not just from a simple practice session, but from a circuit where the set up is well-known and just very slightly tuned.

Still, FP2 showed the same. ;)

Wait, a kid in his second season in F1, just the very first at Ferrari, with a car pretty much designed around Vettel, with engineers that he has been working with for years... Don't you think that Vettel should be doing way way better than Lec???

Riccardo was the first one to make Vettel think "yeah, I'm not that good" but now Leclerc is pushing Vettel into retirement.

How is the car designed around Vettel???
It is funny: first we are told Leclerc would destroy Vettel, then he does not and it is the fault of the stategists and if nothing else helps Vettel not destroying Leclerc is a sign of Vettels weakness.... considering Leclerc is regarded as the real deal just as Max is I would say Vettel does not keep himself that bad....

I did find out that it still won't let me watch replays when I went online to watch. Since I'm not subscribed on Xfinity to ESNW it won't let me watch.

ALL teams will design the car around the first driver's driving style and preferences. The second driver needs to adapt himself. That's a well known practice in F1.

Vettel SHOULD be winning over Leclerc on most of the practice sessions, qualys and races. He is more consistent and know more tricks because he is wway more experienced, but he is clearly slower than Leclerc.

Vettel is not among the greatest, unfortunately the his last year on Red Bull and his time in Ferrari have shown that.

It has been common knowledge for a few years, yet there are still people who swear by him.

    Hard to understand.
